Om værten

Hi there! I’m Omar, and I’m so glad you stopped by. I was raised in the beautiful Sonoma County, California, but in 2015, I decided to make a big move to South Lake Tahoe, and I’ve never looked back. This magical place, surrounded by breathtaking mountains, serene lakes, and endless outdoor adventures, has truly captured my heart.
One of the things I love most about living here is the opportunity to explore the outdoors. Whether it’s hiking through the dense forests, camping under the stars, or snowboarding down some of the best slopes around, I’m constantly in awe of the beauty and peace that nature provides. And the best part? There's always something new to discover in the backcountry.
In 2016, I started hosting guests, and it’s been such a rewarding experience ever since. I enjoy making people happy and providing them with unforgettable experiences. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone’s face light up when they step into this incredible place or hearing about their adventures while visiting. As a host, I get to be a part of their journey, and that’s a role I truly cherish.
Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, I hope to make your time in Markleeville just as memorable as mine has been. I’m always here to offer recommendations, share insider tips, or just make sure you have everything you need to enjoy this stunning place.
Looking forward to meeting you
