The host had greet me once I arrived and she has her assistant Alma that provided exact details how to enter the property with videos so you won’t get lost and have a sense of direction thru WhatsApp. The view is beautiful and the beach is right in front of you. The bed was so comfortable with lots of pillows and you had everything you needed plus all restaurants and bars near by. I explained to Alma that I would choose them again when I come back.

Nice location with pool and beach front. Easy to get around by car. Would be more convenient on a side by side but we had a rental car and were four people so didn't want to have both.

Fantastic Condo

We stayed here with our daughter and her two children. The condo was extremely comfortable, AC and fans in all the right places for my husband, great pool for the kids, well appointed kitchen for me and proximity to Playa Bonita and town for all of us. Well decorated, clean and everything works very well. Would definitely recommend!

This condo is gorgeous!

My son and I stayed here for six days in early April and loved it! Spacious, well appointed and you can hear the ocean from the kitchen! Nice deck overlooks the pool. Mini market 500 yards away for essentials and nice bars and restaurants close by too. I have no hesitation in recommending this property - Michael the owner was prompt and detailed and gracious in his responses. The condo truly felt like home for our stay - it was bigger than we expected and the decor is lovely.

Christmas Holiday in Las Terrenas

This unit is in a great location. It is a short walk to the multiple restaurants in Las Terrenas. The ocean view from the large balcony is fantastic. The unit is outfitted to a high standard. Olimpia was very helpful with the check in process. She contacted us during our stay to inquire if we needed any assistance. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing! Will be back!

The property was amazing, felt very at home. Everything is walkable for the average persons ability if you should choose. Taxi is available if needed. We walked a lot. Communication with the property if needed is always there. Speaking some Spanish helps. All that you need for basics is provided. We will be returning.

Thank you for your kind words Tracy! Yes, it is a lovely place. We love the beautiful ocean views from the terrace and the fun beach scene along Playa Ballenas. Also, our helper Niña reports you leaving the place in such immaculate condition. We sincerely appreciate this! You are welcome back anytime. Just steps from the most amazing beaches ever…

The unit was in excellent condition with everything we needed on site. Large bedrooms, bathrooms and living area with a giant deck overlooking the pool and ocean front. Definitely recommend renting a quad or scooter for the stay as it made running around easy and fun. I am a frequent traveler to many beaches and islands, but the white sand beaches and bath-like warm water were by far the best I have ever experienced. Mike and Olimpia (PM) were always available if we needed them and were very helpful with recommendations during our stay. I have nothing bad to report and highly recommend renting this unit to anyone that is looking for a trip to paradise! We will definitely be back with friends and family.

The condo was as expected from pictures. We valued having the filtered water cooler, but we also purchased bottled water and went through it on our stay. There were plenty of pots and pans for cooking and storage containers. We cooked about half the time. The oven was tricky to figure out and not great but served its purpose. We appreciated having four beach towels, games, and books. The AC worked quickly when we turned it on at night, and we only spent an extra 26 US for additional electricity while there for 6 days. The pool was heavily used by our youngest and walking everywhere was easy. We had rented a car and easily drove everywhere. We visited El Limón, took a boat for the day, and visited the spider monkeys. Hot water was tricky in the back bathroom shower so we used the hallway bath. Also, you have to flip a switch to turn on the hot water heater. Also, have pesos before you arrive so you can easily get through tolls. Communication and support was great and easy. Do put on bug spray if you are on the deck at night. We also used the washer and dryer but with the weather, it was easier to hang heavier towels in the sun to reduce energy consumption.

Thanks Nicki. We are glad the family enjoyed your stay and your time along Playa Ballenas :) Yes, we need to do a better job communicating that the "H" & "C" lines on the rear shower are essentially reversed. But yes indeed, we have found there is good hot water after about 10-15 seconds of running it. All the best! -Mike

problems upon return .

Owner should checked everything before renting and make sure that everything is as advertized and he did not while living there. As JUST one exemple: the two TV should have had cable and one remote control for each tv.....It is very unpleasant always have to ask the care takers to fix something or to add something that should have been there in the first place.... the house was nice and clean.

Hi France. Again, thank you for your feedback and suggestions during your stay and now here. I am glad your family got back home in good order following the COVID-19 situation. I hope you valued the tremendous time efforts our team (Alma, Olimpia, Victor and myself) took to try to best satisfy your needs in all your communications prior to your arrival and your special requests during your stay. Indeed, it seems we fell short with some of your expectations along the way. For that, we will accept that. I guess this might be our our first non 5-star review :( ! In any case, the GREAT news here is that your feedback and the additional steps and investments we made have made Ventanas al Mar even more comfortable and special for our future Guests!! For that France, we thank you. Sincerely, Mike (and our Rental Team)
