Find peace and quiet at this 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom country retreat. Situated on a 10-acre wooded lot, this place features a cozy indoor space, central air, outdoor deck, and fenced area for dogs. It's a perfect place to work remotely, relax, or enjoy after a day of adventure. Stroll the property or ski/hike at one of the local parks, visit a premiere golf course, enjoy the lakes, bring your ATV/snowmobile and ride local trails. Close to golf and lakes. The space
Find your escape in the peaceful charm of the Northwoods while staying at this delightful country home. Rustically decorated with a modern twist, featuring a wraparound deck and adjoining fenced area for dogs or children, super-comfy furniture and beds, and large windows that let allow you to discover the diverse foliage and animals of the area. STAIRS ARE REQUIRED FOR ACCESS.

The house sits atop a hill at the entrance of a quiet cul-de-sac in Adams County (central), Wisconsin, and boasts a galley kitchen, dining room, three bedrooms, one bathroom, green space, onsite walking trails, adjacent ATV/snowmobile trails, high-speed internet, and workspace areas.

This rural retreat has been lovingly curated to reflect the calm of country living, but also has several modern features. You can gaze at the stars while lounging on the deck, explore the woods as you stroll the property, hone your golf skills at one of the local courses, write the next bestselling novel, or chill out while watching a movie on one of three televisions. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes spices to complement any meal, a large dining room, a living room, wifi, and of course acreage! The place sleeps 5 people in 3 bedrooms - with two bedrooms holding queen size beds and wifi TVs, and the third with a single bed, and 1 bathroom.

Parking is available onsite for up to 4 cars and an RV. The retreat is within 10 miles driving or ATV/snowmobile distance to state and regional parks, some of Wisconsin’s premiere golfing and fishing destinations, an off-leash dog park, and exceptional eateries, pubs, and restaurants.

The home is self-catering. Essentials including toiletries and cleaning supplies are included in the rental. Guests who book 1 week or longer can expect garbage pick up once per week, and extra linens. Washer and dryer are located in the lower level and available for an additional daily fee of $10 per day. Guests who book 1 week or longer do not pay the washer/dryer fee daily usage fee.


Travel by car, ATV, or snowmobile (in winter) are recommended. There is limited ride-sharing and taxi services in this area. There is no public transportation (i.e., bus) available in this area. Closest railway station (Amtrak) is in Wisconsin Dells (40 miles from the property).
Guest access
Guests will have access to the main level of the house. The garage and outbuildings are not for guest use.

Guests may request access to the washer and dryer, which are located in the lower level, for an additional fee ($10 per day).

Other things to note

BONUS FOR GUESTS WHO BOOK BETWEEN MEMORIAL DAY - LABOR DAY
Guests who book with between Memorial Day - Labor Day will receive 1-day pass to Lake Arrowhead Golf Resort (9 miles from house) where they can enjoy free use of a heated pool (there are two to choose from), private access/parking to Lake Arrowhead, as well as other amenities, which will be shared upon pick up of your pass. Upon booking your host will ask if you would like a 1-day pass and confirm desired day for pass. The pass is good only for those on this booking (up to 5 people). Additional passes can be purchased from your host.

DOGS
(including pets, service animals, and emotional support animals)

Pets (dogs only, max 2) are welcome with a fee. An additional dog may be considered. The booker should contact the host in advance.

Service animals are welcome! Per Vrbo policy there is no fee for SAs (requires documentation be provided to Vrbo). When lodging with an SA, I kindly ask that you indicate you are bringing an SA so that I can anticipate this. I also kindly request that the pet rules are followed (e.g., pick up dog waste).

Emotional support animals (ESAs) are also welcome. However, these awesome species require that their owners pay the pet fee. ESAs are not exempt from short-term rental fees in the State of Wisconsin. As such, owners, please be sure to indicate that you are bringing a pet in your registration. The fee will be automatically be applied. As with pets and SAs, I kindly request that the pet rules are followed (e.g., pick up dog waste).

WASHER / DRYER
A washer and dryer are available on-site (in the lower-level) for an additional fee of $10 per day. These appliances for designed to for clothes and linens only. Hunting or other outdoor gear are prohibited. A laundromat is also conveniently located in the town of Friendship, which is approximately 10 miles from the property.

WINTER SNOW REMOVAL
During the winter months when there is 4 or more inches of snow, the main driveway will be plowed by an outside company. This will be completed within 24 hours of the last fall of the snow. Snow that covers the deck and stairs leading to the house will only be removed by the outside company upon guest request and when there is 4 or more inches. Snow shovels are on-site for guest use. Should the guest prefer to remove the snow on the deck, they will receive a $25 booking credit per snowfall of 4" or more.

STAIRS
The house requires stairs for access. The house is not handicap accessible (sorry). Guests need to climb starts to reach the house, please consider before booking.
