Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry that your stay did not go as planned. Shortly before your arrival there was a misunderstanding between our team and the property owner regarding the status of the hot tub. Our team member believed it was being worked on and was awaiting confirmation on whether it would be operational for your stay. Unfortunately that information was incorrect, and we should have reached out ahead of arrival to let you know the hot tub was not functional. We sincerely apologize for that miscommunication. When an unexpected issue affects a major amenity like a hot tub, our standard approach is to offer guests two options: stay with a discount for the unavailable amenity, or cancel for a full refund. After speaking with you and learning you preferred to relocate, we issued a full refund so you could make other arrangements. We appreciated how kind and understanding you were during our conversations and believed the situation had been resolved. If you had expressed dissatisfaction with how things were being handled, we would have done whatever it took to ensure you felt taken care of. Our team hosts many guests each year, and the positive reviews we receive across all of our platforms reflect the level of communication and service we strive to provide. The replacement part for the hot tub has already been ordered and repair is scheduled for this week. We wish you the very best in your future travels.
