The property was as listed. Great location. Very clean apart from the pool area. Was very dusty and had a broken chair. But it’s was exposed to the elements to be fair. We needed the pool heated and found the cost of that unnecessary

We’ve been coming to Seagrove for 10 years and have stayed somewhere different every year. Overall, this is a beautiful, newly remodeled house with a lot of great amenities!Pros: Plenty of parking, comfortable beds, private bathrooms for every bedroom, a great pantry, and brand-new washer/dryer. The golf cart was a GODSEND! There were also 7 bikes, tons of beach chairs, pool floats and beach toys. Our boys loved the ping pong and Pop-A-Shot, and the outdoor kitchen was great. The ice machine may have been my favorite thing in the house!Cons: Our biggest disappointment was the beach access. The closest beach requires wading through the Eastern Lake tributary, which meant floating our items across on boogie boards not conducive to our grandparents. There is another public access a little further but no golf cart parking nearby. The tributary had a ton of biting flies.The pool was also freezing since the back of the house is covered and the pool gets very little sun. The upstairs bunk room has no door or curtain, so sound carries easily especially the basketball. The house could also really use more hooks and towel bars, especially near the bunk room.Lastly, the kitchen smoke alarms were VERY sensitive and went off almost every morning — even making toast! We also had a bad fuse and garage door opener issue when we arrived, but the management company was responsive and had someone out within 24 hours.Overall, a really nice house with a great price but lacking beach.

Family Vacation

Overall great stay! I would opt for having the pool heated even in summer due to it being covered it stays pretty cold but other than that we loved this home and area!

Family vacation

We were very impressed with the Grand Mary. The house is very new and had plenty of space for the 7 of us to spread out. We were greeted by a loaf of fresh, delicious banana bread with a personalized note upon entry to the house. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of that you may need. We were given plenty of towels and toiletries to cover our 4 days there. There was plenty of entertainment available for our adult children. There was even a closet of toys for younger children and a shelf full of books. There is an ice machine that would be great to use to fill a small cooler to take to the beach. The beach chairs were great quality and it was very convenient to use the golf cart to carry our stuff to the beach entrance. Overall, we had a great stay!

WARNING! DO NOT BOOK WITH BEACH WALK VACATION PROPERTIES1. Arrived to find the upstairs air conditioning not functioning properly and not blowing cold air. Air conditioner upstairs did not work, called twice and sent messages, blew us off saying “heat rises”, finally sent someone out after 3 contacts and indeed the air conditioner was not working.2. Sent messages asking for pool to be heated, received some smart reply about it being hot in Florida, was told pool could not be heated and was due for maintenance on Thursday but maintenance came instead on Wednesday so small kids couldn’t swim and was told “oh the heater is broken”. After contacting the owners of the home, the heater did indeed work, and the owners themselves, not the property manager, turned up the heat so small children could swim. 3. Called to report thatthe golf cart that came with the house was bumping on left side and felt like the bearings were off, was told golf cart can’t be replaced and no one could service it until tomorrow, but to go ahead and drive it. While riding with a 10 month old child, the wheel literally fell off. THE WHEEL OF THE GOLF CART FELL OFF. When we called to report this matter, Beach Walk representative Ashley stated that “Florida is busy this time of year, I can’t get anyone out there to fix the golf cart until tomorrow”. The golf maintenance person did not come until very late the next afternoon, around the time we were leaving to go home.

This is a very nice home. However, dealing with the rental company was less than optimal. ( I felt like the messages may have been AI generated.) Before our trip, I asked to have the pool heated. It took 3 days to talk to someone from Beachwalk. She was not helpful, & told me the pool heat was seasonal and the last day to heat the pool was the day bf we arrived. I wanted to pay to have it heated since I rented it specifically because it said you can pay to have it heated. Finally she disclosed the heater was broken. The pool was icy cold and the grandkids could not use it. A big disappointment. A bigger disappointment was the beach access. The house is advertised with a min. walk to the beach access. However, what was never disclosed was the beach access is blocked by the inland lake outfall. So, to get to the beach you have to walk through the lake. It is wide and thigh deep. We had to haul tents, toys,coolers,chairs etc. through the brown stinky water. When I messaged the rental company, they were unapologetic and said another access was 1.5 miles away. Again, we rented the house because of the supposed 1 min. walk to the beach never expecting to have to walk through a lake with babies, small children,etc.! And then the fire alarm would go off when we used the stove. They never came to fix it. Lastly, the third floor never cooled below 74. By afternoon & evening, it was quite warm. The rental company response was cavalier and unhelpful. Nice house, rental co. awful!!!

This house is great for families with teens and super close to the beach. Grand Mary visited us with banana bread and fresh baked cookies :)

Great property close to the beach. Had some trouble with the smoke alarms going off two nights in a row. No smoke so not sure why. The property was great and would highly recommend.
