Vintage spirit, clean, open, airy, room to relax

Charming seashore apartment with lots of vintage free spiritedness. This is a private apartment in a house from the 1920s andholds that quaint seashore cottage style charm. It’s Cottage core in feel. Fully stocked with linens, cookware, towels, starter coffee essentials-pods, creamer, sugar, toaster, microwave, fridge, Airfryer, and full size oven with lots of work space in the kitchen.

This is a second floor walk up and street parking only. It is centrally located to many businesses/amenities. It is walkable to the beach and boardwalk (about 5 blocks), 2 blocks to the bay. There is a map in my pictures for reference. Parking is free and usually within 1 block of the apartment. All are welcome here.

The apartment has the spirit of more peaceful days. It’s open with amazing breezes and a beautiful garden like backyard to overlook. Our goal in setting it up was to create a feeling of the shore before life got so hectic. Our apartment sleeps 5 and has a smart tv in the living room and both bedrooms, WiFi and dvd player, bring your favorite movies to catmch up on rainy nights. We also have board games, a nice clawfoot tub, or you can enjoy the gas fireplace in the livingroom.

It's nothing fancy, but very clean, comfortable and calming. Window airconditioners are available for comfort in the summer. Updated inverter portable ac unit added to allow more flexibility in enjoying fresh salt air with greater cooling power for the apartment. New queen size mattress in main bedroom and electric baseboard and gas fireplace for cozy nights. The livingroom has been updated for a vintage cozy vibe.

Private covered porch with wicker bench overlooking garden backyard setting. We extended the deck and added wider stairs with a grab bar to make it safer and easier to get upstairs. It is still a steep walk up. We have a small pool! It is 10 feet round and 30 inches deep. Enough to get wet for adults and for young children to splash. It is swim at your own risk and children may not swim without adult supervision at all times. Remember children can down in an inch of water.

Guest access
The apartment is private and dedicated space for guests only. There is a private porch. The backyard is shared with owners who reside downstairs. We will keep some floats and small pool toys available for sharing.


Other things to note
There is a smart tv and roku stick tv as well as WiFi but no cable. We have some children and family DVD’s in the apartment. We also provide sheets 100% cotton, bath towels, and wash cloths. We will launder them as needed to make sure you have a comfortable stay. We do not provide beach towels. There are extra pillows, bedspreads, and blankets in the apartment.
