Vicky’s Island View is a boutique home in the exclusive Loutraki area of Chania and overlooking Souda Bay and its islands from an elevation. The property is unique as it offers guests private use of health and wellness facilities onsite.

The space
The property is located on a 6,000 square meter plot accessed through a gated driveway and includes an outdoor parking area. Mediterranean landscaping includes olive, cypress and fruit trees and lavender flowers and herbs created by a well-known Cretan landscape designer, with unobstructed and elevated views of the sea.

Accommodation for 4 people with two double bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms. Interior living space includes a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with sofa, and dining table. Outside you’ll find a veranda with extra seating and dining table as well as a barbecue.

Follow steps down to the second building housing the gym and spa. Turkish hammam, dry sauna, bathroom and shower, fully equipped gym with Pilates reformer, some space for yoga, and a massage table. Perfect for meditation - or a serious athlete!

The area outside the gym and spa has a wonderful private Infiniti swimming pool with amazing views of the sea and islands in the bay, along with several sun beds, jacuzzi and shower.

There are some walking paths located on the grounds. The property is elevated with spectacular views which are unobstructed but no water access.

Loutraki beach and it’s cafe is just down the road and is a small and beautiful sandy cove but gets busy in the summer so get there early. Marathi beach is also very close with an excellent beach and swimming and tavernas and cafes.

Safety is paramount so signs note limits to approaching cliff areas on the property as well as instructions for safe sauna use in the gym and spa.
Other things to note
Car rental is essential. Chania airport is a 15 minute drive at 7 km away, Souda port is 16 km away and Chania city center is 16 km away. The nearest village is Sternes just up the hill where you can find a mini market and coffee, pharmacy, bakery, taverna, etc. The SMM “Super Mini Market” is located in Pithari further down the road. The village of Kounoupidiana has a large super market, taverns etc.
