This is an irresistible and fun beachfront home. It is freshly updated and beautifully decorated. With 3 bedrooms plus a living room and a game room, this property can comfortably sleep most beach-loving families. You are welcome to bring an air mattress or cots for extra sleeping. During the day, you will be building sandcastles and relaxing on your big, wide, private sandy beach backyard.

This is an irresistible and fun beachfront home. It is freshly updated and professionally decorated. With 3 bedrooms plus a living room and a game room, this property can comfortably sleep most beach-loving families. You are welcome to bring an air mattress or cots for extra sleeping. During the day, you will be building sandcastles and relaxing on your big, wide, private sandy beach backyard. At sunset, you will sit next to the beach bonfire while enjoying your views. Often the waves splash right up to or into your backyard! This is probably the largest oceanfront yard in the city with its lush green lawn and its private sandy backyard. You will love using the BBQ, cooking hotdogs and hamburgers as you watch the dolphins jump and play right in front of the cottage. Your stay will be the serene and relaxing beach vacation you are looking for!

The beach house is fresh and bright with all new coastal decor. The ocean view kitchen has all new and modern appliances, equipment, and gadgets you need for spectacular beachfront dining, including a K cup coffee maker. The bedrooms are fully appointed with fresh duvets and towels, including fluffy beach towels. The home has everything you need for your stay at the beach, all you have to bring are your clothes and food! Of course, we have smart TV`s, a ceiling mounted living room tv, cell phone charging stations, and free high-speed WIFI.

The location of the home also makes it a spectacular choice. It is an easy walk to the wide sandy beach of the pier area, the many fun restaurants, gastro pubs, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and even the movies are an easy walk. Bring your beach cruisers because we have miles of coastal trails and it`s always fun to ride to the shops and restaurants at nearby Oceanside Harbor. Boats and kayaks can be rented at the harbor. We are only 15 minutes from Legoland and an easy drive to Seaworld and San Diego Zoo.

Intimate beach Weddings

The perfect setting for an intimate beach wedding or elopement up to 18 people. We have the wedding chairs and tables. All you need is the bride and groom. Our onsite staff will assure you have a special place to recite your vows or become engaged. All ceremonies are daytime 1-5 pm , (so you can see the ocean in your photos) and conclude by 5 pm. Only 8 people on property before or after. Rates for events are 1
$1250 to $1550 per night with a two night minimum

Bring your bikes. There are lots of places to ride! Go to harbor and rent a boat or paddle board

Mini beach weddings and beach elopements and engagements for 18 people maximum with 1250 per night event fee and contract. Please inquire

All kinds of fun new restaurants nearby. Bring your bikes!

The city offers a fun electric shuttle that will pick you up at your door and take you to any beach or coastal restaurant and then bring you back to the beach house. Just download the Ride Circuit app and select Oceanside.

Fresh!!! Well equipped we invited friends over had plenty of room to entertain

This is our second time to enjoy this home! Plenty of room, quaint, clean, linens are fabulous, we are so great full to be able to make so many wonderful memories with family and friends!

My family loved it!

I couldn't be more pleased with this beach cottage! It was much larger than I had anticipated! One week was not long enough; we all wanted to stay another week! Easy access to the beach. A green lawn for my grandchildren to play. Washer and dryer, oven, microwave, coffee maker all included. The bedding was so clean and smelled awesome! We drank coffee by the ocean every morning and sat there again in the evening as we watched the sunset. The only downfall was that we did not meet the owners of the property; I was waiting for our cookies that everyone else bragged about ha ha!

AMAZING VIEW....

Our stay in Oceanside was perfect, I have been a lot of places Aruba, St Maarten, Cancun ect.. and this was one of the most beautiful views I have seen. Almost every day we saw Dolphins. The location was perfect we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view from the beach house and the yard... It was awesome!! it was so beautiful we didn't go out much we didn't want to miss out on seeing the sunset :). The beach house was very comfortable it had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here.. The owner was always helpful and always got right back to us if we had any questions....The last day my son in law got stung by a stingray which I understand is very rare....

Extremely Disappointed

Our stay at this property was very disappointing. After spending quite a bit of money to rent this place for week, we opened the door to a house that was in need of some cleaning to say the least. Upon entering, you could see that the furniture was dirty and stained to the point that we covered them with towels before sitting on them. While emptying the ice chest, water spilled onto the floor and when it was wiped up the towel was black. The house had not been cleaned properly and since each guest pays a cleaning fee there is no excuse for a dirty house. There was mold on the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen utensils were rusted and luckily we brought a can opener with us because the one there wouldn't work. If you are going to rent a house for thousands of dollars a week, I think you could spend a hundred dollars and buy new kitchen items when they rust over. We understand that this house is at the beach and things rust, but that is no excuse for not spending the time to keep up your property with a little care. The locks on the doors didn't work so there were baskets filled with rocks which doesn't actually keep the doors shut. It would be nice to have privacy when in the bathroom. Also, the upstairs toilet area is next to the front window which only had a thin curtain on it. At night, I would have to use the restroom in the dark so that people couldn't see in. A shade would be nice! You couldn't broil with the oven. There were not enough bath towels. When you allow that many guests you should provide the appropriate number of towels. The trash cans were half full when we arrived. By the fourth day, we ran out of room and my husband carried trash bags home with him to throw away. Also, the dryer vents into the house so it blows dust back into the room which caused one guest to have severe allergies. We stayed there with young kids and were disappointed to see that at the end of the property you have to climb down rocks to reach the beach. This was not conducive to young kids who wanted to play in the water and stood at the edge of a drop off. Also some of the chairs were broken and where was the red umbrella that it shows in the picture? I think the worst part was the neighbors Great Danes, yes that is plural. Every time you stepped outside you could smell the pungent odor of dog urine and feces. Needless to say it made enjoying the ocean unbearable. This was certainly not the vacation that we had planned on having.

Fantastic!

My sisters , mom and cousin met in San Diego to celebrate our mom's 90th birthday. The house was perfect and the location was great. We went to the local farmers market on Thursday, took a stroll down the pier to a wonderful ice cream parlor, and enjoyed margaritas on the deck. The owner, Kim, is great. All communication prior to arriving and during our visit was courteous and prompt. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Great Family Vacation

A perfect rental for a large family to vacation together without sharing any common areas with other renters. A private house right on the beach! Direct access to the water from your back door! Private fire pit was great to have for a large group wanting to be together and talk by the ocean at night. Kim was great to work with via email and on site. She dropped off our keys as soon as we pulled up to the house! She's only a few doors down if you need anything but we were fine and didn't really need anything after check-in. The only issue we had was stair climbing for those of us over 75. We had 3 elders including myself and since the only kitchen is upstairs we had to climb stairs more than we cared to. Eating outside a few nights helped. We'd still consider coming back again with kids and grandkids. They loved this unique private spot on the beach where the house is not shared with anyone but one family.

Home away from home

We had an amazing time! The house was in perfect walking distance from several activities and the kids each had their own room. They would say it is good to be home when we would get back ( I think having the beach right in the backyard helped). The beds were very comfortable and having the window open listening to the waves every night was a little piece of heaven. We will definitely be returning.

Loved the property!

We had a wonderful vacation. The private beach was perfect during high tide. We loved the views in the morning and at sunset. The cottage feel was just perfect for our beach vacation. We are planning on renting it next year.

Perfect vacation!

My family has had the privilege of renting from Kim 4 times now! She is so wonderful to work with and her beach homes are beautiful! We have stayed in the red door house twice and her other home twice. The private beach and yard make you feel like you have your own personal oasis! We have built so many wonderful memories with our family and plan on coming back again! The houses are always clean and have beautiful decor. They are well equipped with amenities and have all the beach toys for my kids to enjoy! Thank you Kim for such a wonderful week at the red door beach house! We'll be back! The Green family Utah

Perfect paradise

I'm writing this with dread because we need to leave in the morning. This home was the perfect home for us. It has all the amenities we needed to celebrate our Christmas in February. The kitchen was amplied supplied, beds comfortable, plenty of towels, and a yard and deck to die for. How can anyone complain when you wake up to the sights and sounds of crashing waves? We can not wait to return. Thank you Kim.

Perfect for us. Easy to work with. Clean. Excellent location.

We enjoyed this location very much. The house is old but decorated very nice and kept clean. Beautiful back yard to relax and enjoy the view. Fire pit was my favorite. Very easy to work with.

Fun beach cottage

This house was perfect. Clean and cute. We used the fire ring every day. The kids played on the private beach. Really nice that is was a private home and not a condo. Privateer Pizza was great too!

Wonderful family time on the beach

My family loved sitting around by the bon fire, eating, talking and making smores. The dolphins really do jump right in front of the house. We walked to LTH to eat and even walked to the village area to see the new star wars movie.

Amazing Family Vacation

This is the second year we have rented from Kim. Can't imagine renting anywhere else. This house is exactly as pictured. Very clean. Everything you might need for a fun, relaxing vacation. There were 11 in our party - 4 adults and 7 children - and there was plenty of room. The private beach is awesome - no packing up the car to fight the crowds - your backyard is the beach! Kim is great, very easily accessible with any questions or concerns. She definitely goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. Thanks Kim! We will definitely be back!

Perfect beach home!

Absolutely loved this beach home! We rented this home to have a small beach wedding here and it far exceeded our expectations! The view was magnificent with the ocean behind us and the sun setting. The stairway from the upper level made the perfect entrance to enter the march down the aisle! Kim provided me with good information for the timing of the ceremony so the glare of the sun would not be a factor in pictures, and let use a few white folding chairs for our parents! The decor in the house is exactly how you would expect a beach house to look like- so cute and tastefully done. The size of the home worked perfectly for our large family, mostly adults with the 4 different bedrooms, there was plenty of room for everyone. The large deck out back was great to sit out on for meals and the grass provided a great place for the kids to run around and play on when we needed a break from the sand! We sat around the fire pit each night making smores and listening to the crashing waves. Each morning we watched the surfers catch the waves while enjoying a cup of coffee from the balcony. This was the first family vacation we have planned as a blended family and we all agreed that we want to make this a yearly tradition and hopefully be able to book this same beach home again- it was perfect for us!
