Privat poolbar i paradis med panoramaudsigt fra Caribien! aircondition, WiFi, perfekt!

Bonita Vista er designet som et privat paradis for kun to voksne og er centralt beliggende og let at komme til, men alligevel meget privat. Denne nye tilbagetog på bjergene har en stor, overdækket poolbar med en betagende udsigt over Vieques National Wildlife Refuge og Det Caribiske Hav.
Vores gæster i april 2018 skrev i vores gæstebog, "Vi kunne ikke have haft et smukkere og behageligt hjem væk fra hjemmet. Et meget specielt sted med sikkerhed. "

En afslappende eftermiddag ved poolen glider let i solnedgangs-cocktail-time og middag fra grillen. Måske en svømmetur under stjernerne eller en magisk måneskin over bugten!

Bare få skridt væk til huset, hvor din luksuriøse queensize-seng venter, og aircondition eller beroligende tropiske briser lader dig sove. Vågn dig op til en spektakulær solopgang og nyd en 'regn' -bruser i dit eget badeværelse. Nyd din morgenkaffe fra det fuldt udstyrede køkken, mens du planlægger dagseventyret!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay on Vieques and the view was fantastic. Theisland was wonderful to explore. The roads can be a challenge. But the food and beaches were worth it.e resorr

Better than the pictures!

The first thing that attracts me to a rental property are the photos. I'm pretty sure that's how it works for everyone. The pictures for this place are gorgeous and they're perfectly taken, but they don't do the place justice. It's truly a little paradise and the hosts are incredibly accommodating. The bar/pool area was chic, well equipped, and comfortable, great for relaxing in the sun or stargazing at night. Located very close to the park entrance for the beaches and a local grocery store. The room was also incredibly accommodating for a couple who want to cook themselves some nights and the bed was very comfortable. It's also a few miles from Isabel II and Esperanza, so not a long way to travel but also far enough away to escape the sounds of traffic and others in the towns. Highly recommend.

Turnkey Paradise!

There have been countless favorable reviews of Kris and Barbara's place in recent years, and we are now proud to say each and every one is 100% accurate! Every 'box is checked' from the views to the amenities and tranquility. If I had one concern all week, it was that the blender motor would hold out! LOL. Thank you again gracious hosts!

Peaceful retreat

Four days was not long enough! I agree that photos do not do this property justice. That view!! Plus stargazing at night, lush surroundings, comfortable well equipped studio. The location between Isabel Segundo and Esperanza was convenient to everything. Communication with the owners was seamless from start to finish. We would gladly return!

Extraordinary Hillside Paradise

We just returned from a 4 day stay at Bonita Vista and I wish we had stayed longer! The property has expansive views over the wildlife preserve to the sea,enjoyed from either your sitting area outside your cabin or from the lounge chairs of your private pool cabana. I found it very hard to leave the property and explore the island! The landscaping is just a tropical paradise. We had everything we needed, lots of beach towels, beach chairs and even a cooler was provided for our outings. Kris and Barbara are very thoughtful hosts, the map marked with special spots was very appreciated. Thank you again for creating such a perfect place to stay!

Amazing!

Stayed at Bonita Vista for 10 days. Been coming to Vieques for now our 12th year. Barbara said that the property was "a labor of love " for her husband Kris. No doubt they put in a lot of hours of hard work and it really shows. We absolutely loved it there! From the perfect little cottage to the very cool bar and pool area. The view was spectacular as well. Pretty much located between Esperanza and Isabel so getting around was easy with "Matilida" our somewhat old but feisty little golf cart! It is the perfect place for a couple to enjoy time together. We hope to go back next year. Thank you Barb and Kris!

Prettier than the pictures

An extraordinary property, and as others have reviewed, the views are amazing. Morning with the roosters, birds, and horses, and star gazing at night. We rented the vehicle from Kris and Barbara, and roamed the island which has a variety of road conditions. Entry and exiting the cottage is a challenge due to a steep and slanted grade as well a a sharp turn. We prepared most of our meals at the cottage, and ate at the pool bar. Gas grill was clean, and WiFi was good. The bioluminescent tour at Mosquito Bay is a must do. Highly recommend this property. Kris and Barbara are fabulous hosts.

Vieques Getaway

My wife and I spent a wonderful week in Vieques. Kris picked us up at the airport in his car, which we rented for the week, which was extremely handy. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent and the check-in process seamless. The casita was perfect for two. Clean, private, well-equipped, with an amazing ocean vista over the green of the island. Kris was available whenever necessary but gave us our complete privacy otherwise. Wonderful property, we'd stay again without hesitation!

Private couples retreat!

Kris picked us up from the airport and gave us a quick run down of the town, Isabel Segunda, on our way to the property. Once there, his wife, Barbra, greeted us with a map and showed us around the property and the little bungalow. Their map was very useful when looking for restaurant ideas and beaches. They were kind and friendly and answered questions (text) promptly. The views from the covered “porch” area are even better in person. Star gazing from the pool was one of my fave nightly activities! The bungalow is well stocked for kitchen needs, the shower was so nice after a hot and exhausting day at the beach. The bed was really comfortable as well, that’s one of the biggest risks I think when renting is the bed, and they sure passed the test with theirs! AC worked like a champ! Curious little lizards come up around the porch area, we seen iguanas in the tree tops being clumsy, that was fun for us! Vieques is definitely one of the most magical places I have ever been, it is worth the trip to get there. This little bungalow was absolutely perfect for my husband and I, we’re grateful to have the memories we do of Vieques and this special property!

Absolutely Lovely

The pictures do NOT do it justice. This place is breath taking. Lush, green, nature all around you. Full and total privacy even though they live right on the property. Accessible via golf cart. The house is small but perfect for a short stay. We were there for 7 days. All the things you need for cooking. And we can’t say enough how wonderful Barbara and Kris are. We loved loved our stay and would come back again anytime!

Exceptional!

This is a perfect place to stay on Vieques. The cottage is lovely. The pool and pool bar are delightful. Everything you need to enjoy a stay is at hand, from cooking at home to cooling off after a day exploring or at the beach. Hosts Kris and Barbara have thought of everything and are incredibly responsive and helpful. You'll delight in listening for roosters, horses, and birds from your exceptional perch above the preserve overlooking the Caribbean. Truly among the best.

Our Own Slice of Paradise!

Our first 5 nights in Puerto Rico were on the island of Vieques. We enjoyed our own modern, air conditioned, cottage and even had a pool and pool house adjacent to the cottage. The view over the wildlife refuge to various Caribbean bays and beaches was really wonderful. The setting had a rural feel that made us feel at home. The owners made sure that we got to the cottage and provided a map of the island with recom-mendations. We enjoyed being able to cook breakfast in the cottage though we had to try out a different restaurant each evening. The world's best bioluminescent bay is on Vieques, almost in view of the cottage. It is truly a "must do" experience! This property was a great place to call home for 5 nights. We were in need of that slower pace. Thanks for blessing us with your special place.

Just what we were looking for!

We were looking for a place to completely relax with a beautiful view, kitchen, pool and privacy. This was the perfect choice. Access to their car was a great benefit, including airport pick up and drop off. We had everything we needed to make our own meals, pack lunches, beach chairs and towels, cooler, etc. Shower was awesome - warm and great pressure which you don't always find with a rainfall shower. Everything is so close, yet we were often the only people on the beaches and hikes. Highly recommend it if you are looking for privacy, relaxation, pool, and amazing views!

Private and Spacious

This place was great for us. It's definitely much more spacious than the pictures imply, at least for us two. An amazing view overlooking the Eco Reserve, plus an outdoor covered area with a grill and bar where we cooked a few dinners. Also, this spot is central and is maybe a 7 minute drive to Esperanza and Isabel II, or any of the many beaches. We are coming back to the island and staying here next winter. K&B will give you total privacy but will also be available as soon as you text or call them.

Excellent

This place was great! The private pool and deck area were where we spent all our time enjoying the sweeping views. The cottage itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is also great, easy to reach both towns and close to some great beaches.

Great views - wonderful getaway!

Super property -we had a wonderful couples getaway. Villa was very clean and had all the amenities you would ever need including a pool and beach gear. Views were amazing. Also a very short drive to all the beaches on the south and north sides of the island. Barb gave us great recommendations - the best of which was for Crystal Clear Eco-Tourism. Sarah and Reyga were absolutely outstanding. Vieques is a wonderful island and we will definitely be back!
