This was the cutest place I have ever stayed at. The decor was a retro vibe and it was the best. The host was very fast at responding if I had a question. The location is close to all the things. Clean, spacious and just a perfect home away from home. 10 outta 10 would recommend. I will definitely stay there again if I’m ever back in Austin.

Outside needs a little work if you have small dogs; a few places with holes. Very comfortable bedding, great kitchen. I didn’t read that it is a duplex; the brita filtered water in the fridge is nice but the i washed out the water pitcher because there was some mold in it. Wonderful park close by to walk.

This cute, clean little gem is accessible to shopping, yet quite private and off the beaten track. Hot tub in the fenced backyard was lovely. The decor is mid-century modern and so tastefully done. Both bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds, plus full kitchen and eating area. Having two full bathrooms was a bonus. Hostess was responsive. We will be back for sure.

Retro sure, great stay - absolutely.

The backyard is the best part, but the entire property is cute and the amenities are great. 2 well furnished king bedrooms with work areas that include sit/stand desks. The kitchen is nicely equipped for a short stay, and the area is quiet and next to a huge park. Would stay again.

Cute lil apartment

My husband and I along with another friend stayed for a quick two nights for a wedding in town. We had everything we needed and it was such a cute lil spot. Love having a washer and dryer as it was bloody hot the weekend we were there and fresh clothes were appreciated. We enjoyed our time there.

The house was so cute and fun! Perfect location on a quiet street. Amazing sleep and overall a lovely experience. The amenities were perfect for us as we were pretty much there only to sleep. However, we felt the pictures were a tad misleading. We didn't realize it was actually a duplex and a shared driveway. That came as quite a surprise when we came home the first night and found cars and people parked where we had been. As cute as the outside was, the yard really needed upkeeping; it had become overrun with weeds. At one point, a breaker must have flipped and most of the appliances in the kitchen lost power. The cleaning crew simply wasn't maintaining the home; our feet turned gray walking around the first night, the toilet seats were BARELY hanging on, and the shower curtains rings were broken and falling off. The pull knob for the shower faucet, when pulled, actually pulled the entire faucet up and I was terrified the first night it was about to break off all together and create a horrible problem. The curtains also weren't waterproof and we sadly made a mess the first night, then soaked the curtains the second (trying to at least keep the water off the floor, we place the curtains on the inside of the tubs). There were several tripping hazards I addressed as well with the host. It wasn't a good rental for anyone with even the slightest of balance issues. If the house were cleaned better and the property maintained, I would happily rent again!

I traveled for a short stay with my husband and our infant son, the place was a great location for us and easy to get to. The host provided good instructions on how to get in. Also appreciated nice appliances and coffee provided in the kitchen. Check in and out times were a little odd but she was very clear that they were non-negotiable unless we received an email the day before that we could check in early--we did get to check in early but it was 50 for 3 hours which we took because our son really needed a nap. If the unit was not being used, we would have appreciated the courtesy without the charge but that's ok. Overall nice place.

Good Location

The property is located close to Brodie Lane just off of Slaughter. There are plenty of restaurants near by. The unit could use some freshening up with paint, etc. but was clean. The back area was filled in with rocks and has no grass for pets. There is a park around the corner to walk your pet. Checkout time was earlier than most VRBO I've experienced and we were offered a late check out for a fee. Host was very attentive.

Disco Retreat in Austin, Texas was clean and had a cute retro design. With shopping and food near it made a great location for our visit to Austin to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday. The home was roomy and had comfy beds, great A/C (you need this in Texas summer), and the kitchen was stocked nicely with all you need. The host was also very attentive and answered all of our questions very quickly. It's a great place to stay while your visiting Austin.

This was an amazing place to stay on our mini-vacay. If we stay in the area again, we will definitely try to stay here again. One thing to mention is that the cowboy pool does have a chiller, which makes a world of difference! But, just a heads up, 72 degrees is too cold!
