Hi Ashley, Thank you for sharing your perspective. The wildfire activity during your stay was part of an unprecedented regional emergency that affected the entire Lake Chelan valley. Throughout your reservation, the property was never under evacuation orders and remained fully accessible according to Chelan County Emergency Management. VRBO reviewed your request for a full cancellation and determined it did not meet their criteria for a refund. I also offered alternative check‑in dates to help accommodate the situation, but those options were declined. Although you chose to delay your arrival, you ultimately stayed at the property and remained through the full reservation period, including the scheduled check‑out time. I understand how stressful the regional conditions were, and I’m sorry they impacted your experience. While factors such as air quality, wind, and regional closures were outside anyone’s control, I remained responsive and relied on verified updates from local authorities throughout. I’m always open to discussing concerns directly and working toward a constructive resolution.
