Lakefront moderne hus - privatliv, dæk, dock & pejs 8 sovepladser

We test water once a year. This year there was slight bacteria count and we arranged to shock well. We did not have time to do this work before SH arrived. As we explained to her we had drug the water all summer with no problem but offered to pay for bottled water. Dishwasher sterlises all dishes. The person shocking the well mixed up date and arrived on SH's last day. We informed her and said if there was any problem they could stay at a hotel at our expense but the work had not been started so there was no problem. I think SH's description of house is not accurate. Check previous comments from guests and you will see none say anything about cleanlinesss that she does. Well was shocked the day after SH left and there is no bacteria.

This is a surprising comment. I invite readers to check all the other comments about the house and make their own judgment about how clean our house is or how negotiable the steps are. As for cleanliness, I can note that this couple had no complaints when I showed them the house at their arrival or when I emailed them two days later. The house had just been professionally cleaned before their arrival and was in tip top shape. The bedding is very new and 100% high quality cotton. Likewise, for the towels and facecloths. They are what we and all our other guests have used. Regarding steps my wife and I are in our mid-sixties and negotiate the steps without problems. Granted, this couple appeared to be much older, and apparently they had packed a great deal. Another odd thing happened with this rental. The couple spent a part of their vacation replacing several perfectly functional items (a shower head, pillows, new rubber gloves!) with things they bought, sometimes less functional and poor quality. After they left, we had to look around the house to find and put back our own things. My family and I like the house so much that we spend most of our summers here and rent it only a few weeks a year when we cannot be here. It does not have the look or feel of a rental property. Rather, it is furnished and equipped as a real home with love and taste and high quality materials. Again, dear readers, read what other say and decide. Vacationers who want the beauty and charm of a lake front house with dock and boats combined with the conveniences of modern home (internet, DVD, Hi-FI inside and on deck, induction stove, etc.) will be pleased with what they find here.
