Such a cute place to stay. Super accommodating place. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. It’s a nice little quiet spot for a getaway. Everything was clean and well cared for! I wish we could have stayed longer. The road is a little sketchy at first but we were able to make it with a Tesla no issues. Overall, one of the best places I have ever stayed in for vacation.

My family loved staying at the Gnome Home! It was wonderful and so perfect for us. Such a great set up inside the cabin, and the outdoor space was beautiful and very scenic. The firepit and hot tub were ideal for our spring getaway, and the location made it pretty easy to take a couple trips into Mammoth Cave NP for a few tours/hikes etc.The host was very helpful, providing us with the quickest route to MCNP from the cabin which shortened the drive immensely, as well as replying very quickly when we had questions. Really great experience staying at this property!

Owners did a great job of providing everything we needed for our stay. They literally covered everything. My only complaint would be that we were looking for something near Mammoth Cave. The listing, which I am not even sure the owner can control, states Mammoth Cave is 15 miles away. However, it is much further, about a 50 minute drive. If you are looking for an adorable cabin that is super relaxing, go to the gnome home.

Hi Amy! I'm not certain why your GPS took you a 50 mile route... That's crazy!! Unless the Green River Ferry was not operational that day perhaps? The historic Green River ferry is the entrance to the north side of the park, and it is 15 minutes from the house. If you have to go around the entire park, then yes it's a lot longer. More like 45 minutes. I do wish you would have reached out to me for clarification on this! I'm always here to help!

Very clean and cozy. Lots of extras in the pantry in case you forgot anything. Comfortable beds. Very steep driveway not mentioned anywhere. Owner communicates a lot, is easy to get a hold of but is pretty particular about certain things.

I'm surprised to see a four star review here. The driveway is mentioned multiple times and *AT LENGTH* in the description. "This home sits atop a beautiful hill at the end of a graveled private drive with a somewhat steep ascent on the last curve. And while our real estate agent made it up with no trouble with her late model Honda Civic, please keep in mind *your own* comfort with your driving abilities and the capabilities of your vehicle. Seasonal weather affects the road conditions here, and this should ALWAYS be taken into account when driving to remote areas. And while we take extra efforts to keep our property and its private drive highly accessible, the trip up the hill could be a little stressful for some more timid drivers. Our advice to you is to just keep going! Once you are headed up that hill, **don't stop.** If a 15-year-old Honda Civic, Amazon deliveries, and a heavily laden Lowe's appliance delivery truck can make it, so can you!!" ALSO, THESE GUESTS TAMPERED WITH OUR CAMERAS.

We absolutely loved our time at the Gnome Home and highly recommend it! We traveled with 3 adults and 5 children for my son’s birthday trip to Mammoth Caves. The cabin is really cute and cozy, very clean, and very well stocked with everything you could think of. They even have games, books, and a record player, which we enjoyed. The hot tub is wonderful, and it’s a really special location with privacy and scenery at the top of a big hill. Beautiful firepit area with plenty of seating. There were multiple AC units that kept the cabin cool during very hot days. The bedding was lovely and there were more than enough towels for everyone. We brought our dog and the hosts provided a dog crate and food/water bowls. 3 of the beds are upstairs in a large shared space but there are privacy screens provided so each sleeping areacan be it’s own space if desired. Communication with the host was great and check-in/check-out were very easy. Overall a wonderful cabin getaway !

The house was exactly as advertised- we had a lovely weekend in the woods! The house was fully stocked: plenty of towels, pantry items (salt, pepper, honey, vinegar, etc.), and adorable gnomes! And having laundry was huge!It was so thoughtful for Heather to leave us marshmallows for the fire pit (and all the items needed to start a fire).Two tips for future guests: 1. The hill leading up to the house took some mastering, either rent a car with 4 wheel drive or have someone who isn’t afraid to accelerate when the car struggles on the gravel. Starting off at 15/20mph and keeping a steady speed will get you there.2. From what we could tell (and from what the locals told us), the house is in a dry county. If you want to purchase alcohol to drink at the house, you’ll need to purchase it before entering the county.Would definitely recommend, we had a fantastic time, thanks Heather!!

Spent 4 nights. Clean well stocked kitchen, we cooked all our food there for 4 people. Very cute set up and the Gnome hunt was a nice touch. Hot tub is really nice, it was clean and functioned really well. Rooms were nice and clean, beds were very comfortable. Outside the cabin was clean and well kept. Driveway is steep but well maintained and our 2025 Pacifica had no issues fully loaded. well thought out place with a Nome theme, lots of games, blue tooth stereo, with record player and records. Great shower long lasting hot water, even the outside shower for the hot tub has hot water. Washer and dryer work well, in house coffee grinder was a cool thing, we forgot ours. Good times good host with great communication, very friendly, 5 golden stars all the way! If you want to get away, unwind and sit in a hot tub on a hilltop in the woods in the cutest place ever, the Nolan Gnome Home is where its at!
