Southern Breeze er en 4 sovev����relse, 2 bad, Gulf Front forhøjet strand hus med fri udsigt over Den Mexicanske Golf. Denne familievenlige, kæledyrsvenlige leje er et sted, hvor du kan forvente at bruge kvalitetstid med dine kære, mens du ser bølgerne ruller ind fra en ekstra stor delvist overdækket kløft sidedæk (47'x16 '). Beliggende på hvidsukkersanden strande i den Mexicanske Golf i den lille ø fiskeri samfund af Dauphin Island, Alabama. Med vandet kun fødder væk fra dækket, vil din familie kunne lave sandslotte, spille i vandet og lave minder, som vil vare en levetid. Southern Breeze har et fuldt udstyret køkken (gryder, pander, fade osv.) Og hus sengetøj (bad og håndklæder, lagner osv. ..) er forudsat. Det store soveværelse har en king size seng med walkout glidende glasdøre fører kløften side dæk. Det har en 32 "fladskærms TV / DVD combo. Gæstersiden Gulf side soveværelse har en King Size Bed og har også glasdør f��rer til Golf side dæk. De 2 ekstra soveværelser har en uhindret udsigt over Mississippi Sound og er et godt sted at se pramme og bådtrafik gå forbi. Den bageste ekstra soveværelse på gæstens side af huset har en queen size seng og en 22 "fladskærms TV / DVD combo monteret på væggen. Den ekstra soveværelse på mestersiden af huset har to enkeltsenge, en 22 "fladsk��rms TV / DVD combo. Med hele hjemmet DVR-systemet kan dine børn, ligesom vores, nyde at se Mickey Mouse Club House mens de ligger ned for en lur. Den ekstra soveværelse på mestersiden af huset er forbundet med soveværelse via jack og jill badeværelse. Alle værelser har uafhængige satellit-tv-enheder.

This is a great beach house in an awesome location! The bedrooms were spacious and kitchen very well equipped. Right on the beach! The water comes under the home! Very private and comfortable. Would definitely visit again!

We loved that the beach house is touching the water and can feel the house moving ever slightly some times makes me sleep better and you can hear the waves sound to we can’t wait to go back again.

Upon walking in we could tell something was not right. Very bad musty smell, and there was black mold on almost everything. We couldn’t use the washer and dryer due the amount of black mold. We even tried scrubbing the washer ourselves to no avail! All air registers had black mold around them. And the shower curtains were covered with black mold as well. All the furniture was noticeably dirty, and I’m pretty sure the bedding was not washed as there was still sand in one of the beds! Even found a dead cockroach in one of the rooms.

Our stay at Southern Breeze was great!

Enjoyed listening to the waves crashing under the deck. The checking in and out process was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great views and extremely close to ocean

Overall stay was nice. The beds are not very comfortable and the electric stove was not expected but overall stay was great.

Family trip with fur babies

We loved our stay at the home. It was a very clean house and the beach is right in your back yard! Great location close to many restaurants. Our dogs loved the large porch and watching the ocean. Would definitely return for another visit.

Beautiful home, perfect location. The only complaint we have is the mattresses. They were all very hard. Other than that we made do with what was available and had the best time. We really enjoyed the deck over the water and the view. It was perfect and we’re still talking about our trip and wishing we were there!

Ac didn’t work the first two days of our short stay. Some type of algae growth on the stairs became very slippery when it rained causing me to literally fall down the stairs. Continually killed some type of crawling bugs in the house. Very unhappy with this property.

Great house right on the beach

We had an amazing time. Very relaxing . Would recommend this house as a perfect location vacation house. Had a bit of trouble with the refrigerator smelling of shrimp but that is no fault of the owner. Excellent communication with rental company. Highly recommend!!!!!

Pelican Perch

The home was beautifully laid out. Communication with Dauphin Island Rentals was wonderful. They kept us up to date regarding Hurricane Zeta coming ashore. Customer service was outstanding.

Very nice and it was cool on/in water. We usually stay on bayside! Was disappointed that there were no, zero, spices or salt pepper! Luckily i did bring some. Also, need a reuseable coffee pod for people expecting a regular coffee pot! Just acouple of suggestions! Enjoyed place very much!

Beautiful location!!!

First timers on Dauphin Island and it did not disappoint! Loved the atmosphere of this home and the entire island! Check in was super easy. Communication with DIBR was nice. They answered every question or concern I had promptly. Love that the beach is literally underneath you. So only a few steps out and you’re at the water!

Relaxing

The House was very nice and the house was clean. a lot of the linens had a fowl oder and we had to wash them before taking a bath or sleeping. The location was very nice. The only other negative was the barstools and the chairs for the kitchen table was very unstable. But overall our stay was very good. And would love to rent this property again.

Momcation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our Momcation. The home and the beach were perfect for us! When we first got to the property, there was trash around the stairs, and kids beach toys and lawn chairs on the balcony, so it made us think we were at the wrong location. We called the host, and immediately got an answer. She confirmed we were at the correct location and the cleaners must have left those things from the previous stay. Once we got in the home, everything was as described, and perfect for us. The beach balcony is large, and having a partial covering allows for sun/no sun. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very nice, well kept house, on the water

The house was awesome. Checkin is easy. The house is ON the water. Being in January, I knew that things are a gamble. You never know what the temperature will be. The management company is awesome. We had an issue with extreme rising tides and they came to my rescue (cars rescue from getting too wet). This was done well after working hours. They seem to be always available.

Family Thanksgiving holiday

The house is attractive and comfortable for 4 couples, with a marvelous deck overlooking beach and Gulf. However, 2 concerns give it just 4 stars: 1)The house network was unable to connect to the Internet during our stay. 2) One queen bed has a terribly noisy mattress that interfered with sleep. (There is now a new house on top of the pilings behind it, but loud noise from it is saisfactorily muffled inside the property.

57 Years Loving Dauphin Island!

Easter weekend, 1963, was the first visit to Dauphin Island, AL. I was 10 years old, my sister was 6 months. My family fell in love with the island. Now both of us have kept the tradition with our families and our children continue to the fourth generation. We remember when this property was built. It now is partially over the water due to a series of storms and hurricanes. The house is lovely, inviting, well stocked, we enjoyed every minute. Just a suggestion, we are now senior adults. We need better information on property accessibility, upkeep and most all storm recovery to the island and roads. We had a very difficult time getting into the house because the street and parking had not been cleared from the Dept. Hurricane Ida. Although DIBR had requested a clean up that the street this property was on the staff at DIBR came to help us carry our stuff across the sand. We still had to park on the main road making it difficult to access our car to go out. Perhaps your company could establish some policies on collaborating with the local governments doing the storm recovery.

Do not recommend

We do not recommend this property. Had trouble accessing the door code and couldn’t get thru to the rental company for an hour. A random guy walked up and shared the code with us which did not give us peace of mind traveling with young girls.He had friends that had stayed there prior. The rental company stated the code couldn’t be changed. There is mold on the ceiling in several rooms throughout the house. The dryer doesn’t dry. The waves were so loud and powerful that the house shook all night hard enough to wake us from sleeping. So loud on the back deck that we couldn’t carry on conversation because we couldn't hear. The weather was beautiful but the noise and house movement was overstimulating. Sounded like a severe thunderstorm constantly. We asked for a refund but were denied. Checked out 24 hours early.

The location was excellent, the condition of the house was not. House was in need of upkeep and a good cleaning. Front door is coming apart, faucet in bathroom just spun in circles, refridgerator smells awful. The cleaning person was there when we arrived and was still cleaning. Counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms were dirty. Overall it was a disappointment after our last stay on Dauphin Island. The door frames looked like they had never been wiped down. Please note I am not looking for perfection, but cleanliness goes a long way.

Escape from the north.

We had a great week on the island! Took advantage of local tourist destinations, the fort, aquarium, ferry, Bellingrath gardens and steamed cuisine. Highly recommend all the above! The house was very comfortable. Choosing to believe that previous tenants and not the cleaning crew hid the dirty frying pans, not cool. On deck grill was great. Loved the surf outside and under the house after the storm, what a delightful experience. Bring some citronella just in case the breeze dies and you want to sit on the deck. The ONLY drawback was the connectivity. Had to do a teleconference out in the empty lot. We also had difficulty with the tv in the living area. Management had someone come out right away monday morning which was good. Jiggled the cord which restored signal, pronounced a new cord was needed, but never came back. He might of come back while we were out but didn't leave a note or a new cord, so.... anyway, we had a great week and look forward to returning to the island in the future.
