My wife and kids and I live in Wake Forest, NC. We fell in love with Black Mountain after visiting and realizing that nearly wherever you stand in town, you are surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. We had this home built with the goal of achieving the "best of both worlds" - a true mountain retreat that's also convenient to all shops, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Our home provides nearly 180 degree STUNNING all-season mountain views that you just have to see for yourself! At the same time, you're only 5 minutes away from downtown Black Mountain and all it has to offer. If you're coming to visit the historic Biltmore Estate, you've only got a 20 minute drive to get there.
We LOVE hosting and hearing the anticipation our guests often share with us as they are preparing to get away to the mountains. It delights us to be able to share favorite spots we know our guests will enjoy so they can make the most out of their vacation. We are thrilled to hear each person's reactions to the mountain views, because that is what led us to fall in love with this home we've had built, and we know they'll fall in love with it for the same reason. Our guests have been absolutely amazing, and they often write entries in our guestbook in the living room that we thoroughly enjoy reading.
A vacation, time to relax and unwind, is something every one of us needs from time to time. It is an enormous blessing to us to be able to provide a refreshing getaway for those looking for a mountain adventure or just a time to sit and relax and enjoy the majesty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the charm of Black Mountain in particular.
Last but not least, we are avid hockey fans and players, and we passionately cheer on our Carolina Hurricanes.
We LOVE hosting and hearing the anticipation our guests often share with us as they are preparing to get away to the mountains. It delights us to be able to share favorite spots we know our guests will enjoy so they can make the most out of their vacation. We are thrilled to hear each person's reactions to the mountain views, because that is what led us to fall in love with this home we've had built, and we know they'll fall in love with it for the same reason. We chose the Tudor Croft neighborhood because it is the best neighborhood we've ever found that offers stunning all-season mountain views from nearly every room in our house as well as the 2 large back decks. Isn't that why most people want to go to the mountains in the first place? Secondly, the neighborhood is conveniently located to everything in Black Mountain you'll want to visit - 5-10 minutes from it all!

Our property is unique in its Tudor style, with stucco and natural stone exterior, creating a storybook mountain getaway vibe. But let's be honest - the VIEWS are everything and why most people come to the mountains. This property provides stunning views that will make guests want to return again and again. We've designed each room with close attention to detail and colors that allow the natural beauty of the surrounding mountain to compliment it all. Our mattresses are some of the most comfortable you will ever sleep on - You'll see! :) We hear this a LOT. And for nighttime fun or rainy day inside entertainment, we have a true professional Air Hockey table and 2 classic arcade machines to bring out some competition and nostalgia. Our kitchen is stocked with most everything you will possibly need. But we suspect you'll spend the bulk of your time on one of the two back decks (upper & lower) sitting or rocking while you drink coffee or tea or your favorite beverage and enjoy the majestic Blue Ridge mountains that seem to go on forever.
