A stunning and picturesque working avocado farm surrounded by mountains and orchards that is within walking distance of several nearby vineyards and wineries. Also close by - you will find an abundance of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails tucked alongside the year-round flowing of the Santa Margarita River. Come relax, unwind, and soak in the breathtaking views of our 15 acre farm and the ambiance of the nearby 1,300 acre preserve with everything that nature has to offer.


The space
Welcome to The Gem of Fallbrook, a family owned working avocado farm, tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood of Fallbrook surrounded by endless mountain views and vineyards as far as the eye can see. The early morning air brings in incredible sunrises and evenings frequently end with the most spectacular sunsets!

* Enjoy our modern design with some fresh air and a calming serenity as you get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

* The scenic drive you will make upon arrival meanders along a mountainous road and carries on through an abundance of whimsical tree tunnels. This driving experience alone is priceless and worth the booking!

* Walking distance to local wineries, vineyards, and hiking trails. Also close to many wedding venues, casinos, hot air balloon rides and more!


* The open floor plan is perfect for spending time together during all hours of the day. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, a butlers pantry, and an all granite central island with barstools. The living room includes a wood burning fireplace. All furniture is brand new and the modern interior design has recently been updated.

* King Sized bed with decorative ceiling fan and a sizeable closet.

Bedroom #2
* Queen Sized bed with private attached bathroom and closet.

Bedroom # 3 (The Game Room)
* Fully equipped with a ping pong table, Giant Jenga, TV and a sofa with a queen-sized pull out bed along with a stackable washer and dryer - for your needs.

* Our home also offers a private patio abundant with plants and flowers. The perfect space for sitting with nature while you sip your morning cup of coffee!

* WIFI is included - see The Gem of Fallbrook binder for log in information.

* ONLY SMALL dogs are allowed

* The yard's fence is small and the wilderness is vast - please be mindful and keep your furry friends safe while staying.

#3. NO PARTIES -
* Only the guests accounted for at booking may stay on the property.
* Keep noise levels down after 9:00 pm

#4. PLEASE DO NOT WANDER AROUND THE PROPERTY

So quiet, peaceful and scenic this place is. It provides privacy between each bedroom and great access to the large patio. The views of surrounding hills are amazing!A couple of minor communication issues were the only problems and a little tricky to find at first. We would stay there again.

This place was perfect- just outside of Temecula, but super easy to get there. Funding it was pretty complicated- especially at night- so make sure you stay in communication with the host.

The property was difficult to find. I would suggest using the address on the mailbox of the second driveway. However the owners and the locals are very friendly and willing to give directions. We loved the property and the beautiful views. The patio was nice to visit with our family that lives in Fallbrook. We would definitely stay again!

The host was absolutely awesome! And the accommodations were exactly as advertised. The amenities were well stocked, the floorplan was perfect for our needs this weekend. The environment was gorgeous and a perfect setting for a weekend getaway. I would stay there again without hesitation. Just try to arrive if possible during the daytime as the roads can get a bit confusing if you are going there for the first time at night.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and comfortable, with a nice kitchen that was well equipped. The bedrooms were also nicely appointed, and having laundry equipment was great. We, and our guests really enjoyed the patio, for sitting outside for breakfast, and sunsets across the canyon.The one downside was actually finding the place, and we’re glad we did in daylight. Better, more specific directions would have been helpful, and inconsistent street naming, just made it hard to figure out where we were. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

We took a trip to do some hiking and let the kids explore. We had a very good time hiking around the creeks and enjoying seeing all the green hills and wildlife. There is a great place in town called bizzy bee that the kids were able to play that is a must visit. They also loved the play room provided here. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again.

Great place to get out of town. The three bedrooms are really nice. One has its own TV with a not uncomfortable sofa bed and a twin bed. For fun there is a nice patio, bbq and a ping pong table. Unexpectedly there was a basketball hoop, which was fun for a shoot around. The only hiccup was getting there. The VRBO address gets you to the property, but not to the correct house. But, Donavan answered our call immediately and directed us down the road to the next driveway. We would definitely stay here again.

The host was very welcoming. There a few suggestions we would make to improve the experience.1) The property is a "2"bedroom with a games/laundry room with one single bed and a pull out couch. 2) The property entrance is very untidy, it felt like we were driving through a auto/trailer wrecking facility.3) The GPS doesn't work well and we "highly" recommend that you arrive in the day time to get your bearings and able to find the house. 4) The wifi instructions should be put on the wall or in the welcoming book.5) People should be aware that at night time there is no going out for walks, due to a multiplicity of wild animals, poisons snakes and other bugs like scorpions. 6) The views in the day time are beautiful, but the roads have no shoulders and are very windy and this should be info provided to potential renters.

Beautiful, nice, clean place. We spent 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Back and front yards are beautiful with plants and flowers. The property is very nice and secluded. It feels like a retreat. Hosts are nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and spacious! The rows of plants that span across all of the local vineyards and farms are not only plentiful, but they are also very bountiful as well! This abundance creates a myriad of vibrant colors for the eye to soak in and admire. It's our little piece of heaven - right here on earth.

The area is known for its picturesque landscape and spectacular sunsets. The painted skies are surreal! The panoramic views of the local nature preserve and the variety of groves create an ideal atmosphere for thriving in every way. Nearby trails careen along the rushing water of the Santa Margarita River and are perfect for hiking, biking, or taking horses out for their daily enrichment. Plus, who doesn't love being surrounded by fresh rows of grapes from the local vineyards and wineries? This property is a GEM for sure!
