The bedroom/sitting area was comfortable and well organized with plenty of empty spaces for our things. Because it was a very hot week, we went out for morning coffee instead of making it in the all purpose room (kitchenette/laundry/bath) downstairs. The location was central to many of our activities but far enough from the main road to be quiet. Beth was a wonderful host and was helpful and easily reachable. Thank you, Beth, for making our stay a pleasant one.

Beth's over-the-garage guest room was perfect for my needs -- large, light, airy, cheerful, stocked with everything you could want. The bed was super comfortable, the sitting area was stocked with a myriad of interesting books, and the TV actually had the streaming services I watch available without my having to try to figure out how to log in to my own accounts. The bathroom is large, plenty of room, and the microwave and refer were as advertised. Beth was so considerate - I had snacks, beverages, and lots of choices for a continental breakfast if I chose. Finally, Beth's yard, which she generously shares with her guests, is absolutely charming. A lovely place to sit and read, have a cuppa or just watch the birds and butterflies. As I told Beth, I'll definitely be back -- I barely scratched the surface of things to see and do around the area.

We planned a short weekend trip out of the city and Beth's VRBO was the perfect place for us. She was a thoughtful host, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. She even had beach essentials for us which was really nice since we didn't have any but could still get to go to the beach. It's a very short and easy drive to both downtown Newburyport and Plum Island which allowed us to see everything in the area while we were there. We're already thinking about planning another time to stay here in the future!

I very much enjoyed staying at this Newbury country property. It provided the peaceful atmosphere that I was seeking. The upstairs room was large, with a comfortable bed, a sofa, and a lounge chair with ottoman. The walls were lined with bookshelves stocked with many reading choices. There were sufficient charging connections for devices. The small but adequate bathroom is on the lower level, along with a small refrigerator that stores ample supplies, and a small microwave. These were quite sufficient for storing and heating prepared meals and take-out. Beth, the hostess, couldn't have been more agreeable. We discovered we share a garden interest which led to many related conversations. She offers her large deck as a place for clients to relax. I plan to return next year.

All good!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beth was great, stocked our refrigerator with goodie’s. Shower was a little small and the bathroom and bedroom were on a different level. Not a problem for most but was a bit of problem for two older boomers. Having said that, I would also say that the host Beth, more than anything made the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Much better than a hotel stay for sure. Would we go back - that’s a yes.

A cute, clean, spacious, second floor bedroom with a small bathroom on the main floor. After exploring the Newburyport area, it was a quiet place to return to at the end of the day. Be sure to visit the Welcome Center at Parker River Wildlife Refuge, take a hike on one of their boardwalks, and if the weather allows - stop at the beach and jump in the ocean.

But call or text if you have any questions along the way. I hope you'll have the freedom to enjoy our home and treat it as you would your own. Kindly no smoking, and please leave your shoes by the entryway for a clean and enjoyable suite. Our outside lights come on automatically for you after dark. Thank you!
