Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun! Located in gorgeous Payson, Arizona secluded in the cozy Beaver Valley Estates and nestled in the Tonto forest, this fabulous 3 bedroom cabin offers two king beds, two double bunk beds, and one child bed. The cozy living room with two sofa beds will also accommodate even more family or friends! This 2600 square-foot cabin has it all! Pool table, saloon type bar, 3 flatscreen TVs, corn hole and more! This heavenly retreat is nestled in the quiet community of Beaver Valley Estates! Amongst the high pines and East Verde River in the Tonto Forest! The Hollow is a beautiful scenic drive just 6 miles east of the 87 B line highway as you exit Payson going towards Pine and Strawberry! Off Houston Mesa Road! Just a short joint east and you feel like your world’s away yet very close to everything in Payson Proper!

6 kids, 4 adults, 1 doggo this cabin entertaining, spacious and perfect for our spring break. First and foremost the communication with Sheila was impeccable. We had unforseen circumstances & made changes last minute and she was open to the change. We gratefully appreciated that . Our petite dig could fit through the fence line so we just threw a cone and LED collar on her and all was well. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the creeks and waterwheel hike. Ages 5-12. As parents.. it was nice, comfortable. Nothing too fancy to worry about but just enough to feel more than needed. Thank you we'll be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy mountain cabin! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect getaway. The cabin was well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sheila, the host was kind, responsive, and made check-in super easy. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and recharge in the mountains!

Awesome home tucked away in the hills just outside of downtown Payson. House was clean and had everything we needed. Just the two of us and our dog went on multiple hikes in the surrounding area. Would love to come back in the winter if we could. Host was very helpful and informative. Thank you Sheila and family for letting us stay at your awesome place!

This was, hands down, the best VRBO at which we've stayed! The location is perfect, removed enough from the city to feel relaxing, but close enough to make an easy drive into Payson for dinning and shopping. The home was well stocked with everything we needed (and things we didn't even know we needed, ha) for a wonderfully memorable family getaway, and there was plenty of room and space for our 4 adults and 2 kids. It was very kid friendly, and my sons had a blast playing pool, exploring the board games in the bar area, and playing in the cool kids bed cubby. The coffee bar was especially wonderful! Enjoying a fresh cup on the cozy front porch every morning was heaven. Also, we'll definitely bring a telescope next time, because the star gazing was phenomenal, even from just the backyard! Sheila was such an attentive host, quickly responding to any questions and making us feel right at home. Before we even arrived, she provided us with so much helpful info, from home procedures to local activity ideas. Overall, she made our experience so wonderful, and everything was so streamlined and easy. We absolutely plan to make a second trip to Heavenly Hollow, and we look forward to making more memories!

Cozy cabin getaway w/ dogs

Perfect little getaway close enough to amenities and nestled enough for outdoor activities and views. We had a great time making home cooked meals and grilling, and hanging around the firepit while watching the goats play, mountain bg, and pups by our side. House was spacious and clean with fully fenced in yard, and our host was so welcoming, organized, and wonderfully responsive.Will visit again!

As a last minute vacation, I was just happy with what I could get! But this cabin was awesome and we were so happy we picked it. The views are amazing and it’s so quiet! The cabin was clean and comfortable— we both napped on the living room couches multiple times! My little dog loved the backyard and she was very impressed with the neighbor’s goats! We will definitely be back!

Amazing host and property

This is a must stay if you are looking to escape the heat like we were or just taking a weekend mountain getaway. The house is comfortable and clean and is located in a beautiful area that is secluded yet close to Payson and all of the outdoor activities. You couldn’t find a better home base for a mountain vacation!The thing, however, that puts this place over the top is the host Sheila! She is open and communicates daily asking what she can do to make our stay better. I’ve never met a more gracious and attentive host. She thinks of everything and provides all the little amenities to make your stay memorable. She is one of a kind, and honestly, the best host we’ve ever met!The house is family friendly and our kids loved it. They were all sad when we had to leave, but we reassured them that we would come back for sure!

The cabin itself is great—clean, comfortable, and well stocked. It’s in a beautiful area with plenty of space inside and out for relaxing, cooking, and gathering. The kitchen is functional, the backyard and grill are nice, and there’s room for a group to spread out.Check-in was a little rough: the screen door was locked, blocking the keypad, and another door took many tries to open (likely a low battery). Thankfully, Sheila responded quickly and got us sorted.The main issue isn’t the cabin—it’s a neighbor or two who clearly dislike having a rental nearby. They monitor guests closely and report even minor things. We were a responsible group of 10 adults in our 30s and 40s hosting a relatively quiet bachelor weekend. Despite following all house rules and quiet hours, Sheila contacted me multiple times based on complaints about normal activities, like unloading a car (we had 1 car too many for 5 minutes) or talking by the fire at 6 p.m on a Saturday.Sheila was responsive but overly involved at times, and we were even accused of a thing or two by the neighbors that never happened. From Sheila's standpoint, I can see how hearing from the neighbors can be concerning. Knowing the truth from my standpoint, some concerns could be ignored for Sheila's sake. I know that she fields similar compaints about other groups, not just ours. I have sympathy for that.The cabin itself is lovely, but the watchful neighbors and constant check-ins made the stay less relaxing our larger group

Matt was a lovely guest… I did however eexplain to him the “lack of multiple vehicle parking” (we only have 3 spaces available and no street parking available) and to say the least they did not adhere to that. 6 vehicles showed up, including a diesel truck that ran for multiple hours with one of Matt’s Guests sleeping in it. (I guess he had a great time the night before) This is a quiet neighborhood and I have to protect my community. The Heavenly Hollow is an amazing place for family & friends. But is you’re looking to have a raging party, this isn’t the place…

ProsThe home offers beautiful views and strong potential thanks to its location, layout, and large yard. The front deck is a highlight, perfect for enjoying sunsets. Inside, there are two separate living areas—one upstairs and one downstairs—providing flexibility for groups or families. The host was friendly, responsive, and kept the home clean.ConsAccess: Getting into the property was difficult, which added stress when unloading groceries for the week.Dog “Friendly”: Although advertised as dog-friendly, guests are warned that barking could lead to eviction after two complaints—without refund. This felt unfair since the neighborhood has multiple barking dogs and goats along the fence that agitated our pups. The fencing isn’t secure for small breeds, and dogs with protective instincts will struggle. We managed, but limited our time outdoors to avoid upsetting neighbors.Furniture & Maintenance: Aside from the beds, much of the furniture was broken or in poor condition. While we are pleased you enjoyed the views, layout, and cleanliness of the home, we would like to address several points for accuracy and clarity: Access Our check-in instructions are provided in advance and are designed to be straightforward. Guests before and after your stay have not reported difficulties with entry.That said, we are always available by phone/text at arrival and assisted immediately as your Mother who attempted to enter and I provided a temporary code to get in. Dog-Friendly Policy We gladly welcome dogs, and many guests have enjoyed bringing their pets here. To ensure comfort for all, we do request that barking be managed—this is a standard courtesy in most vacation rentals. The reference to “eviction after two complaints” was taken directly from VRBO’s pet policy template; in practice, we work with guests to resolve any concerns, and no guest has ever been asked to leave for this reason. Regarding the fencing: the yard is securely fenced for medium and large dogs, which is noted in the listing. We do advise guests with very small breeds or highly reactive dogs to supervise, as is common in rural areas with nearby animals. Furniture & Maintenance The property is regularly maintained and inspected. The furniture is intact and functional—there are no “broken” pieces. Occasionally, as with any home, an appliance may unexpectedly fail; the coffee maker you referenced was replaced immediately after…

From the fully stocked kitchen with every amenity, you could possibly imagine you can assure that your stay will feel like you’re just at home! My goal is to have you come to the heavenly hollow time and time again with your family, your friends, colleagues, and critters!

Please treat it as if it was your own, so all guests can enjoy! Whether it’s in the winter time, enjoying a light snow, and the winter time sports to the spring and summertime when things come alive animals come out, and you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, hiking, and for those who like to hunt, get your tag and come on out!

I chose this neighborhood because I wanted to be within the Payson community limits, but far enough to wait to feel like I’m really out with nature! It is so beautiful with the fire pit, looking out having either a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with a direct view of the Mogollon Rim! Truly a place for your families and friends to enjoy each other’s company year after year building traditions is what I wanted to offer my guests!

At the heavenly hollow, you will enjoy so many incredible activities right on the premises, including a full array of games, cards, poker, puzzles. Even outdoor games with a large chess & checker set, Jinga, cornhole, tennis rackets, and balls.

You can spend your whole time here or take a short drive into town and enjoy the best amount of wonderful restaurants, bars, breweries, shopping, specialty shops, and more!

With two wood-burning fireplaces within the property one downstairs in the bar/pool table area, imagine yourself watching your favorite sport team on the 50 inch screen TV just like you were at your favorite sports bar!

Upstairs, the full kitchen is stocked full of absolutely everything you would need to make that perfect culinary dinner, including a full-size Gas barbecue outside!

The majestic rock fireplace, is a perfect place to whip up your favorite charcuterie board, and pop a bottle of wine! Outside, you’ll enjoy several seating areas, artificial turf to make the kids happy with those games, a Gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs for that perfect conversation at night!

A gorgeous front porch a ways to as you watch the sunset to the west! Plenty of room for that family reunion that you’ve been putting off!!
