Week vacation on the beach

Beautiful location with quick access to beach. The community is kind, safe and located close to many amenities!It was our first time in Destin and the white sand and emerald waters were more beautiful than imagined!

An Absolute Must Stay

Not only is it a great price, it has everything! Its close to the beach, walking distance, it had a wonderful par 3 golf course and light fishing. There's also great restaurants, a winn dixie across the street and so many more things to do nearby. My family had an awesome time and suggest staying here. Such a great price and location. I highly recommend this !!!

From booking online to check in, everything was a breeze. Great customer service. Security waved hello every time I came in. Super clean studio Bed was ridiculously comfortable Had everything I needed for my stay. Will be staying there in the future

Great studio / close to beach!

The studio is well equipped with plenty of kitchen items and is very close to the beach (2 minutes) and the pool near the other studio condo units. The back porch overlooks the guard shack and entry point so there was occasional traffic. My only complaint about the unit was a very damp foul smell which hit your nose upon entry.

Great stay!

We got to the property and it was exactly like pictured! Close to everything! The second day we discovered the a/c wasn’t working. We let the office and host know and it was fixed by the next morning! My only downfall is the 10am check out, our flight isn’t until 5 so my only complaint would be to extend the check out by a little bit! Great stay and we will be back!

1. Blood stained curtain (not sure what it really is but it sure looks like blood to us) 2. Beer can in the planter by the front door 3. Water damaged ceilings, wouldn't be surprised if little pieces fall off soon. 4. Old rusted kids trike next to the front door 5. Missing stopper in bathroom sink (just a big hole. 6. Unit is not on the beach as shown in some of the pictures. 7. No instructions how to use the front door locking mechanism. 8. Can't access porch due to a nonfunctioning sliding door. Not recommended.

Great time!

We had an amazing time. Everything about this place was great. There were just a few things we would’ve wished could’ve been different. One being, we had to pay for beach chair/umbrella rentals. Which would’ve been nice if it would’ve been included, especially because they told us that usually most of the renters pay for them. And the last thing that would’ve been nice was if the screen door of the back porch was new including the furniture in the porch as well. These things aren’t big issues. We had a great stay either way!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was clean but had a musty smell in the kitchen. The corner kitchen cabinet is falling apart, and the screen door on the back porch does not work on the track. They said someone would look at it but no one ever showed up.Heads up to the next guest: Paper towels and other kitchen items not in the unit. It's BYO kitchen stuff. A good non-stick omelet size pan would be a plus. The stainless one they have was a BEAR to clean.The unit was not ready on time for check in and after a couple of trips to the office and back, I finally got the right codes. Just be patient I suppose.

Restaurants were easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again.

We found roaches! And the check in process was horrible - that had given me the wrong passcode I had to go back to the main office twice and the lady was rude she acted like I was putting on the incorrect passcode at the end I had to grab one of the maintenance guys and he had to call the office turns out the passcode the lady gave me was completely different! Then at the time of check out I never received a text message I had to go to the office and check out 2 weeks later I’m still waiting on my deposit refund!

Good location, needs work!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well located studio. Comfortable bed and kitchen had everything we needed (equipment). Sandpiper has been our "go to" for over 30 years. Set up of complex suits us and staff is always great. Housekeeping did a great job but this condo needs some professional maintenance. Moldy caulking around wood corner round that was unsuccessfully added to cover gaps between the heavily scratched up garden tub and shower walls. The screen door,still broken, glass door still difficult (track needs serious cleaning). Small tall table is only eating surface (after we moved the microwave off of it) and there are only 2 chairs for that. Curtain covering sliding glass door is semi transparent, right next to bed, little privacy. I'm ok with, dated but clean, but this place needs some work.Will not return to 8155 but will be return to SPC.

So easy to book our stay and the room was perfect. Short walk to the beach, perfect location to walk to restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

The property smelled of sewer, as did the condo at times. There were cockroaches three times in our condo and the front desk didn’t seem concerned at all! The shower leaked and the overall cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired.
