Out in the country with a elevated beautiful view of the mountain range. It is beside the owners, and they are great people who want you to have a wonderful stay. The room is very clean and fully stocked kitchen and even had snacks set out. We forgot a few things, but they had what we needed there. Many thanks to Mary Ann and Ben. We will be back.

I wrote a lengthy wonderful review that somehow got lost. This lovely private suite was 5 star. Inside had everything you could hope for. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, internet, a large TV and a comforting in wall electric fireplace all made for relaxing. Outside there is a hot tub and a fire pit with smores on request. The area and towns around hold many historic sites and the view from your balcony is perfect. Will return to enjoy another season.

Only note would be the water did have a notable smell. It wasn’t a big deal for us but someone who is sensitive, it may be a real problem. Otherwise everything was as listed and it was a great location for the weekend. It was overcast for us so we did not have the view except for a little on the last day.

Being on a well, today when we read your review comment, my husband manually flushed the water system (it auto runs and he essentially added a run) and checked the filtration which took care of the issue. We hope you come back for the views and the peace and joy Shenandoah Valley and our Wine and Country Suite provides. With all our returning guests you will receive a discount on future stays.

Mary Ann and Ben’s custom home at the top of the hill is truly a gem in the Shenandoah Valley. The location is unbeatable, tucked away in natural beauty yet easily accessible to nearby towns, wineries, and major highways. From sunrise to sunset, the views are absolutely breathtaking and made our stay feel peaceful and restorative.The home itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly well appointed. Every detail feels thoughtful, and the custom woodwork Ben crafted throughout the space is nothing short of stunning and really showcases his talent and gives the home a warm, personal touch.Mary Ann and Ben are exceptional hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their hospitality made our little post-wedding getaway even more special.Our dog also had the time of her life exploring the neighborhood and soaking up some mountain air. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this gorgeous and unique home and these wonderful hosts!

A Perfect Place

We use VRBO frequently, and I set a high standard. This property met the bar and exceeded it. It is located in a beautiful area and the views were just breathtaking from our bedroom, living room, and the deck. At night, there were no streetlights, or noisy cars. The suite was very spacious, and Mary Ann knows it’s the little things that move a property into an excellent standing. The sheets and towels were high end, the closets had plenty of hangars, and the toiletries were great. Furnishings invited us to put our feet up. The kitchen was fully equipped for those who plan to cook. She stocked a basket of snacks and bottles of water which we enjoyed upon arrival. This was truly a wonderful suite for us and we are already planning to return.
