We got here and our room was filthy. We were told by Joe that they had until 6 to get it ready. We were there at 4:45 and normal check in was at 4. This is when we received the code to get into the room. There was no text sent that said room not ready and this was after riding 7 hours to get here. The cleaning crew told us it was ready..all they did was take the trash out. There were ladies feminine products in the toilet, blood on the floor, eyelashes in the beds(they were just made up with the old sheets),hair everywhere, nicotine patches on patio, dirt. it was a mess!! I contacted panhandle and they sent them back up to clean. We were given new linens and the room was vacuumed and mopped. Karen was very understanding! We had to spray everything down! Next… the AC wouldn’t cool. maintenance came and said it needed cleaning and Freon.. he changed the capacitor. this was day 2 of our stay. it helped but didn’t fix the problem. Main bedroom stayed around 85. the next day, which is today. the ac guys came to change out the entire unit. only thing with that was they came after lunch and we had to stay in the room with them( they told us that we had to be there until they got done). so here we sit with a 6 month old and it’s 100 outside and no air inside..elevators are fast but they are hot and smell terrible. View was great from the balcony and pool was great. If you want a peaceful, clean place. this is not the one. we were given our cleaning fee back.
