Safety is our top priority, so we recommend reviewing this detail to ensure the space is a good fit for your needs.
**Laundry Room Note**
The laundry room is located in the backyard and is part of the charm of this 100-year-old home! It’s a unique space with modern appliances, but please make sure to keep the door closed at all times to prevent squirrels or other curious critters from sneaking in. A collapsible laundry basket is provided in the apartment for your convenience when carrying clothes to and from the laundry room. Thanks for helping us keep this historic space clean and critter-free!
**Florida Environment and Pest Control:**
Florida's warm and humid climate is home to a variety of creatures, including but not limited to, ants, spiders, flies, fruit flies, roaches, palmetto bugs, lizards, frogs, etc. We maintain a regular pest control service to keep these pests at bay, but we cannot completely control the natural ecosystem. If you encounter any pests during your stay, please inform me immediately, and I will arrange for our pest control company to address the issue promptly. No refunds will be given if any bugs are seen.
**WiFi and Internet Service:**
Our WiFi is provided by Frontier and while we rarely experience issues, weather or other factors beyond our control can occasionally cause disruptions. If I receive any notice of service outages, I will notify you right away with an estimated timeframe for resolution. Usually, a simple reboot of the router can resolve most connectivity issues. Should you experience any persistent problems, please let me know so I can contact the internet provider to resolve them.
