Moored at our beachy boutique resort 1000 Palms at Clearwater Beach, guests will enjoy all property features including: complimentary kayak & paddleboard rentals, beach cruiser bikes, exterior seating spaces, etc.

The home is 100% private and exclusively your space to occupy. We have carefully considered your privacy, while also allowing you the ability to interact and connect with other guests if wanted.

Conveniently situated just far enough away from the “busy” district, we are located on a very safe & quiet corner of Clearwater Beach. While still having easy access to all of the islands restaurants, shops, beach, etc. you can also enjoy our private courtyard tucked away from all the hustle of the strip.

Island is easily walkable from our location; Complimentary beach cruiser bikes, Jolly Trolley, Uber, private golf cart transport on-site* are also alternatives if needed.

While we have taken careful consideration to provide the safest & most customer-friendly accommodations, please be aware that this is a houseboat and there are certain contingencies that guests must acknowledge.

Safely entering & exiting the vessel, withstanding potential minor rocking, & moving about within tight quarters. Our Mandatory Liability & Awareness waiver must be signed by all Participants, no exceptions will be made.

Communication was very good and quick, had a few AC issues, however was very quick with answering and resolving the issue as well as comping a day with the golf cart which was very fun and ideal for commuting around the island. Very fun and would recommend it.

Enjoyed our stay. Houseboat was clean, host was great, enjoyed the use of their bikes, had fun on the jet skis and everyone who works on the property was extremely nice and helpful to us. Favorite part was sitting out on the deck of the houseboat.

Check in was super easy and the host was easy to work with. We absolutely loved the house boat, it was such a neat experience. It was clean, well stocked and comfortable. It was even decorated well! Having coffee on the front deck was one of the best parts!

Loved the house boat! The host went over the top to make sure we taken care of. They had bicycles to use during our stay! They also had kayaks to use! Will definitely be back for another stay!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. The location was a perfect combination of being close to the beach, bars and restaurants yet far away and peaceful to get away from the busy action. The hosts were great and very accommodating. Highly recommend

This was our second time staying with Stay and Play Vacation Rentals and it was another truly exceptional experience! The adorable houseboat was nothing short of magical! We were provided with everything we needed for toiletries, coffee, as well as beach gear! The location is perfect! Just steps from the beach with amazing dining choices right there as well! The jet ski tour is also a MUST! ALSO located on site! The bicycles that are provided are the cherry on top! We can’t wait to come back!

The inside configuration of the boathouse was better than we expected. It was very clean and comfortable for the two of us. It was well stocked beyond what we expected. Our most enjoyable moments were sitting on the porch and actually watching dolphins swim by us. It happened on more than one occasion. Of course we saw our share of seagulls and pelicans. The boat was moored securely. We enjoyed the slight movements. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom wasn't what you'd think you'd find on houseboat. We thought it would be similar to an RV bathroom. It wasn't. It had a full size shower, toilet and sink. The boat's location was perfect from the beach. We had taken our own beach wagon to convey our own beach chairs and cooler. The boat has a beach wagon and cooler. We used ours since we took them. The walk to Pier 60 was approx. a mile or so. We chose to walk. We could have taken the trolley had we chosen. Clearwater Beach is beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants and entertainment. You might want to take one of the many boat cruises offered there for dolphin watching and Sunset cruises. Clearwater Beach is a barrier island. Once you're on the island you don't need to leave it. Communications with the owner was more than satisfactory. You gotta try the boathouse.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location was definitely the biggest highlight—it’s very close to the beach, the neighborhood felt safe and clean, and the house had everything we needed for a beach vacation.However, I don’t think the property was as clean as the photos and reviews suggested. We found hair that clearly belonged to previous guests, and there were stains inside some of the kitchen cabinets. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t meet our expectations.The biggest downside was the air conditioning. It has to run 24/7, can’t be turned off, and it’s very loud. It made it difficult to relax after coming back from the beach. There was also a very strong odor coming from the bathroom throughout our stay. If we left the door open, the smell spread into the room; if we kept it closed, it became even stronger inside.The property could also use some maintenance. There is visible water damage near the bed that appears to have been painted over rather than repaired. The bedroom closet also gets extremely hot because of the AC unit, making it difficult to use.Overall, we enjoyed our vacation because of the excellent location and beach access. However, for the price we paid, we expected a cleaner, quieter, and better-maintained property.

I don't regret staying here.. but I don't know that I'd do it again unless some things were different. The closet is not usable as a place to put any sizable luggage so we had to put ours in the entry. A better way to do their AC/dehumidifier setup is needed; it is both in the closet and outside of it on one end and the other its just there. I don't know much about boats; however, I would think there should be a solution that could be done similarly to RVs where they have ceiling mount solutions. The AC was so loud that every time it would kick on I'd wake up and I would also go from hot to cold... it wasn't accurate at all. In thinking I'd really rate it a 2 of 5 stay because of that. Also it seems everything heavy is on one side of the boat so there is always a lean to it and when you sleep your feet are slightly in the air; I'd think there was a way to construct it to balance it out. On the positive side it had a great kitchen for a little boat... though I think the fridge is overkill for anyone not staying less than two weeks... but maybe some stay for months at a time. The real thing that saves it from being a two star is the back deck, we loved sitting back there watching birds, fish and even a pair of dolphins. I think this could really be a great place with some alterations a five star then. The area is quiet and relaxing, which is a big plus. Staff very friendly. The reserved parking space also great.
