Our stay was absolutely fantastic we had a party of 15 and there was more than enough room to accommodate. The property was beautiful full of fun for the family. Overall we had a great time during our stay

We had a nice stay at the cabin, it’s a beautiful house with great space. The house however could be cleaner and better stocked. If you plan to cook, bring all the things. If you want to hang up clothes, bring hangers. The carpets are very dirty, the furniture feels like it was picked up on the side of the road. There is no theater room (even though it’s in the description) The bathroom toilet by the pool is very wobbly and the pool rail also is barely attached. The hosts are not great with response time or answering questions. Other than all of that and besides a nail in a child’s foot from one of the doorway strips, we had a nice time and enjoyed the house. We had 13 people and there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved Gaitlinburg and the house is in close proximity to everything!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Aunt Bugs cabin ‘splash mansion’. The scenery was breathtaking while sitting on the wrap around porch. The rooms were just as described- nicely decorated and very clean. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the AC kept the cabin cool. My family had so much fun in the pool and hot tub they never wanted to get out. Any problems we experienced were handled immediately. We had a wonderful time at Splash Mansion and have highly recommended it to my friends.

The resort pool was green and closed. I had to make the beds when I arrived Housekeeping showed up Sunday morning to make the beds. I emailed for a remote for my bedroom tv and it was never delivered. A spindle is missing from the 3rd floor outdoor balcony and we had 7 children under the age of 8. Had anyone fallen from there it would have been certain death. I emailed the host and received a scripted apology. The toilet paper holders are broke. The kitchen sink is missing the aerator so water sprays everywhere. Bedroom bathtub leaks so you have to use towels to soak up water. Ceiling fans are disgusting. One refrigerator for 20 guests and even that is missing the door guards so nothing could be stored in the door. None of the games work properly. I could go on……..

The missing balcony spindle, broken fixtures, leaking tub, kitchen sink, ceiling fans, refrigerator, and game room items have all been shared with our maintenance team and the owner so they can be addressed. We also apologize for the inconvenience of the resort pool being unavailable, as that amenity is managed by the resort and unfortunately is outside of our control. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve, and we are sorry we fell short of providing the experience you expected.

We had an amazing time.

The house was perfect for a multifamily get together. We had the ability to do multiple things at once and still come together for dinner. Loved our stay!

The view was unbelievable mountains as far as the eye can’t see beautiful!!! Amazing!!!!We had 7 beds & bathrooms they were all clean and comfortable beds the grand kids love running from floor to floor and hide and seek so many hiding places. We loved every minute of our stay would stay there again. Everyone we talked to was very friendly & helpful from Aunt Bugs Cabins to all the stores and gift shops we went to . And so glad to come in oct we saw 4 bears they where fun to see up close Fromm a distant The only thing is no railing to go inside cabin it was hard for me to get up the steps . Thanks for a awesome vacation

Family Reunion

We had an amazing time at our annual family get together!! The house was perfect!! Had a great open space for all of us to hang out together, enjoy meals and do activities and play games. The game room and pool was an added bonus!! Would recommend to others!!

Make sure you have a great set of tires to get to the cabin. We were offered early check in for the day before check in. We turned it down because we had plans. They offered us early check in the of for 90 with tax. With that knowledge we knew the cabin had not been rented for at least the last few days so we figured it should be ready. We accepted & were very excited to start our vacation. We arrived @ 11:05 to nobody there and broken glass in the driveway. So I called the number they insisted on using instead of vrbo. We were basically told to leave we weren’t supposed to be there & when housekeeping releases it they would call us. About 20 minutes later and 20 for parking they told us it was ready. They did make us aware that the main floor was having a small issue with the ac. They supplied us with portable units which struggled to work. It took them 2 days to fix the air on the 2nd & 1st levels. We had to buy fans to keep everyone comfortable. The fridge was broken we lost about 100 in food. They said it was our fault because “we had too much hot food in it”. We had to keep the babies milk in the freezer. The more we looked the more we found. The pool & hot tub are danger zones. The ceiling fans base board doors & outlets were caked in dust. Mildew in the showers mold around the kitchen sink & backsplash. The carpet is old stained & nasty. We went to vacuum & it was full of crackers. The coffee pot was broken I had to request a broom. There’s no cooking utensils.

Summer vacation at Splash Mountain

The house was perfect for our vacation. Space was adequate. The house however does need an upgrade. Carpets need to be replaced, kitchen should be stocked with cook ware for those like us like to cook in ocassionally. A whole house general cleaning should be done. I would definitely rent this property again

Excellent get away

We LOVED our time spent at Splash Mansion. We found the house well cleaned and there was plenty of space and activities for all 8 of us! Game room was well equipped and everything worked. Pool and hot top were well maintained and enjoyed by us all. Kitchen was fully equipped for all of our needs. Pics on sited accurately portrayed the rental. The Mountain View was breathtaking. Communication with rental company was easy and we loved the speedy check in and check out. Would definitely re visit.

Great View, Needed cleaning

The view is fantastic and unbeatable. The location is pretty central to downtown Gatlinburg as well. The house itself was very entertaining for the kids with the pool, rock wall, and hot tub. The downsides were that the house just wasn’t very clean upon arrival with bunk comforters still having trash on them and sheets not washed, several mice were seen in the upstairs and downstairs, and there was no coffee pot for the coffee maker which was disappointing for several coffee drinkers! Overall, great location and could’ve been excellent if it had been cleaned prior to staying.

Dream Vacation for Large Family

We came as one big group from the same family, a total of 19 of us. There was something for everyone to do! The little kids and teenagers were entertained with all the games and the pool while the adults couldn’t get enough of the view. We had an air hockey tournament and it was so much fun. Everyone said they had a fantastic time and couldn’t have had a better week in TN. We also got to see a momma bear with three little cubs and that was the icing on the cake. Don’t worry we stayed inside and away from them but watched through the glass in the front door. We would absolutely book this home again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin and view was phenomenal and met all of our expectations. We only used the pool once due to the tempertaure and location. I believe due to liability issues that may have been the deciding factor on where the pool was located. Overall I would give recommend this cabin to large families as there is plenty of room and you could have quiet time away from family or friends if needed or wanted.

Tons of fun for a large group

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Splash Mansion 500 was a lot of fun. We had 13 people in the cabin including 6 between the ages of 12-18. We had pool challenges, rock wall challenges and enjoyed the hot tub and deck. Oh yes, setting out on the deck enjoying the great Tennesee spring weather was wonderful. The house allowed for fun on multi-levels with minimal sound traveling to the main floor. Would definitely recommend the home, site and management company.

Excellent place to stay

I was concerned about some of the comments when booking this property. It appeared to have a cleanliness issue. Upon arriving, the property was in a great location with an excellent view. The upper windows were dirty, but they were 20 to 30 feet in the air. It is unpractical to expect that these windows be cleaned for every visitor, after every rain, etc... The couches were not immaculate, the arm rests showed some wear. The kitchen, game room, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean. If you're looking for a Waldorf Astoria level property, book another property. If you're looking for a great property for your family to enjoy their vacation, this is the place...

Beautiful cabin with awesome view

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house and location. Very clean. We had a party of 11 and could fit more very comfortably. A couple couches need replaced and more seating on the main deck would be nice but very very clean and nice. We were told we needed to put $500 (cash only)deposit AT checkin when we checked in. We didnt truley know this despite being told we were notified. I would of definitely remembered something like that and taken note if an email was sent. Luckily we did have enough cash. But that was detail i wasnt too happy about. Otherwise very positive experience.

Not what we expected

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very dirty when we arrived. There was an inch of dust on every piece of furniture including the fake plants in the kitchen. The pots and pans were dirty. One bath tub had mold all in it. Another bath tub had hair laying in it. Behind one of the nightstands, there was food. One of the bed's sheets was extremely itchy and seemed to have bugs on it

Thank you for taking the time and letting us know of your stay. This particular property I have been is several times and know the owner. It is a really super nice property and uses the best contract cleaner in the area to take care of his properties. If you found some cleaning issues we would have called the owner and resent out the contract cleaning service for that property to address and resolve any issues you found. We hope to see you and your family again in the future and we greatly apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with Splash Mansion.
