Loved my stay here! Dave was extremely accommodating and welcoming. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The only negative thing I would say is that there is a train nearby so maybe bring white noise if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise, I would recommend this place to anyone!

The short answer is that it’s an amazing location close to downtown and the river walk. The host was kind and had a fridge pre stocked with sodas and a coffee bar for those early mornings. My wife and I loved it and will be staying there again on our next trip.

Everything was clean and the location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. I notified the host that we were going to be in late due to our delayed flight, and he took the extra measure to ensure the lamps were on for us so we would not enter into a dark room. A bottle of wine and 2 glasses were waiting for us on the bed, and the fridge was stocked with sodas. We didn't expect this and we couldn't stop talking about all the thought the host put into every area of the room to make the stay comfortable. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We are not sure if we will be back in San Antonio again, but if we are, we will absolutely stay here!

The place was immaculate! Very nice and very welcoming. Very nice touch with walking in when we first arrived to see a very nice bottle of wine with 2 wine glasses on a tray in the middle of the bed. The place was close to all of the downtown attractions. We were in town to go to the Alamo Bowl, and it was within walking distance. No need to have pay for parking or fight the traffic. Overall, it was perfect! I would highly recommend staying here for your San Antonio trip!

Great Location !

We had an amazing stay! The property was stunning, and we absolutely loved the decor. The host was incredibly responsive to all our inquiries. If you're looking to be near downtown, this is the perfect spot to book. Highly recommend—10/10!

We recently had a wonderful opportunity of spending the whole weekend and what we consider a happy haven . The home was nice well kept and absolutely comfortable. We will definitely be coming back and using this location for a second time. Great communication from David no issues no concerns.

I booked this stay for a work trip with my coworker. The host left perfect instructions for parking and to find the entrance to our spot. Right off we loved the room it was perfect for what we needed. Very spacious closet and bathroom was an awesome plus! And the TV was amazing. The Host was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions I had and super helpful and nice. We appreciated the amenities and as ladies we loved that there was make up wipes provided as well! The location was perfect and close to everywhere we needed to be nothing was more than 10 min away. Thank you again for a great stay. Will be coming back for more work events.

The Texan Den is a very clean and cozy, small elegant cute turtle dove love nest, perfect for a quick getaway with your couple/spouse. Your eyes open with awe and delight upon entering this cozy den, the bed, sheets, pillows clean and comfortable. The location is a near mile walking distance to river walk or Alamo dome. The Texan Den host, Mr. David was/is and Outstanding host, promptly replies to requests, keeps the guests informed of any potential issues and goes above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and worry free as possible. The amenities included in our stay was an A+ , highly recommend and will be staying again at the Texan Den.

Great room with private entrance!

This was a perfect room to stay in while enjoying SA. I came for a conference and it was just an 8-10 Lyft ride to the convention center. Check in was extremely simple; all I had to do was enter a passcode that was sent to me and was welcomed to a very comfortable, cozy space! There was even a bottle of wine waiting for me. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great! The closet accessible via the bathroom was HUGE and convenient so I didn’t have to keep my luggage in the living space. Shower was great as well. The room included a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. I could hear people walking upstairs in the attached house, but it was never a bother nor had any interactions, as this was a space all on its own and was extremely comfortable. The host was also quick to answer messages. Overall, it was an amazing space and I can’t wait to visit again.

We have nothing but good things to say about this cute little place. Communication with the host was excellent and check-in and out was easy. The place was very clean and set up nice. The room is small but that’s all we needed. Loved the large bathroom and closet space to store all our stuff. The fridge was stocked and coffee was good. Plus, a bottle of wine was provided. This place is perfectly located close by to all the places people visit San Antonio for. If you want a delicious breakfast close by with excellent service we recommend Labor Street Cafe. We will definitely be back!
