Stay in a bright and spacious 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in Corona Heights, one of SF’s most scenic neighborhoods.

This home is in the geographical center of SF with easy access to both downtown and nature. <10 minutes walking to the Castro, Cole Valley, and Haight-Ashbury, as well as hikes at Corona Heights Park and Buena Vista Park, Golden Gate Park too

Many public transit options nearby (33 and 37 bus, MUNI). If you're driving, street parking is easy to find in front or behind the house.

The home features a large living room with soaring cathedral ceilings and a comfy sofa bed for extra guests, a fullly stocked kitchen with an electronic cooktop and modern appliances , two full bathrooms, and dedicated front and back outdoor patios for enjoying SF’s sunny days. Fast WiFi, heating, washer/dryer, and plenty of storage make for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The master bedroom is spacious and offers a serene view of the backyard, trees, and Corona Heights. At night, blackout curtains and blinds ensure a restful sleep.

Just steps from beautiful parks, hiking trails, and the Randall Museum, and walking distance to the Castro, Cole Valley. Nearby parks include Corona Heights Park, Buena Vista Park, and Golden Gate Park. We provide a detailed guidebook on urban hikes and restaurants to explore in the area. Whether you're visiting for a week or a few nights, you'll feel right at home in this tucked-away gem.

Public Transit options: 33 and 37 bus stops within 3 minutes walking distance of the home. Castro Muni Stop (K, L, M) is a 10 minute walk downhill from the home.

Note: The home is on a moderate hill and the neighborhood (Corona Heights) is known to be hilly, which is typical for San Francisco.

Note: We live in a quiet residential area. We kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum and respect the neighborhood.

Note: Since the garden is full of vegetation we also occassionally have animal visitors (squirrels, birds, etc.) and you may hear them from time to time. We also have raccoon friends who uses our rooftop to get to places so you may hear their steps from above

We had a lovely stay at Yuki and Richard's home. It's beautifully decorated and has such a relaxing vibe. We walked to dinner one night, and walked to coffee in the morning. Great location with easy parking. I'd definitely stay here again.

My partner and I had a wonderful and cozy stay at the property. The garden is gorgeous and the neighborhood has amazing views of the city. We were able to walk to get groceries and cook a full dinner for ourselves with the well stocked kitchen equipment. The hosts were incredibly accommodating to any needs. Would love to book a stay again!

We stayed in the cottage five nights and loved it. We picked this VRBO because of the location and easy access to the Castro and bus lines (33 and 37). Being San Francisco there will be stairs and the cottage is in Corona Heights so there will be steep hills.The cottage is elevated at the back of the property with a mature pepper tree outside making it feel like you are in tree house. If the weather permits, take advantage of the patio to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the bird song in the morning. I want to emphasize “house” because it is the original house on the property, maybe 100 years old, and is spacious with no shared walls. The space is light-filled with southern exposure and views of Twin Peaks. It has been recently refreshed and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and there is work/desk area in the bedroom with a great view. It may not be necessary in a space for two people to have two bathrooms but we found it to be a real luxury during our stay. Yuki and Richard are gracious hosts and they were super responsive to any concerns. I would be happy to stay here again.

Yuki was an amazing host!

We stayed at Yuki and Richard's place for a month in July. They were extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed during the duration of our stay. The place was clean and spacious for two people.

We love Corona Heights for how serene and peaceful it is in the middle of the city. We are 10 minutes walking distance to three incredible neighborhoods (Castro, Cole Valley, Ashbury Heights), and many little walkways and hikes. We even love the hills for a free workout :)
