The property is very well maintained and the hosts were great with communication. Everything laid out very simply and thorough instructions which left check in and check out very simple.

By far the cleanest place I have stayed on the lake hosts were great and was quick to respond with answers when I had questions. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

This place was incredible !! We stayed there when moving our two daughters into Clemson, which was only a 25 minute drive. I could not imagine a better Vrbo… Everything was perfect from the comfortable beds, to the well stocked kitchen, to the paved path down to the dock with kayaks and paddle boards ready for you! I cannot wait to stay there again!

The house was perfect ,it had everything we needed. No need to bring anything from home just your clothes and food. It was so easy to clean and the beds were so comfortable.the walk to the dock was a bit steep for us but we are older. The water was low as is in a lot of other lakes. We did enjoy the fire pit area for relaxing.

Very well kept, clean and nicely decorated property! You can tell the owners take pride in making sure everything is taken care of and comfortable for guest. The bedrooms are spacious, furniture is nice/looks new and beds are comfy! The kitchen is well stocked and everything seemed to be well taken of. The dock is also nice, spacious and the cove is quiet and perfect for relaxing! My family enjoyed 4 nights, rented a boat from Sunset marina one day which worked out great and relaxed at the dock the other days. We would definitely consider staying here again for a lake vacay!

The house was great! The host added so many extras, like life jackets, paddle boards and games to play. The fire pit was perfect! The host even labeled all the light switches so you didn’t have to hunt and search to figure them out. Great memories were made this weekend!

This place is pure gold!! I’ve stayed in 5-star hotels not as well-appointed as this house. The owners have thought of every single thing a reasonable guest could want. It truly is the little things that make the biggest difference. From the clear (and current) labels on everything to the much-talked-about cozy beds (and bedding), these hosts have nailed it and make this lake rental worth every penny. I especially appreciated the screened-in porch, the ample drawers and storage in bedrooms, the fully and well-stocked kitchen and appliances, lush towels and bedding and well-maintained dock and lake toys. I hope guests will appreciate these amenities as much as we did and continue to take care of them so hosts can continue to supply. These hosts know what discerning guests want and they deliver - at a reasonable price!

The house has a lovely view of the lake, but unfortunately it was too cold for us to enjoy the lake itself. The beds were super comfortable, the linens/towels were plentiful, the kitchen was well equipped as we cooked dinner meals there, and the place was very clean. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and were wonderful to deal with. We hope we can stay there again in the future.

We really enjoyed this property! The house was very clean and convenient to boat access. Comfortable beds. Property manager is responsive. Would stay here again!

Wonderful last minute decision to go to the lake, great communication the night before, everything worked out , home is at the end of a cove with a covered boat dock( accommodated our fishing boat perfectly) access to kayak and paddle boats, life vests made for a great experience. Fire pit area was perfect and right off the side of the home so no extra walking down the hill to the lake area. Screened in porch was by far our favorite spot to enjoy coffee and listen to the birds, see morning sun shine. Early evening spent on the dock fishing and seeing sunset glow. . Owner explained where to launch our boat with options to park our trailer, home manual suggested lake side dining with boat access, made for a perfect weekend.

The home itself was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and we really appreciated that. We had basically everything we needed during our stay, and the kitchen was especially well stocked. The fire pit area was also very nice, although the weather was too cool for us to use it.There were a few things that could definitely be improved. The nonstick frying pans are quite old and badly scratched and really need to be replaced. The pillows were also extremely poor—very soft and mushy with virtually no support. Thankfully, we had brought our own. We were also disappointed that we were unable to access our Spectrum TV service on the television.The immediate exterior of the house was nothing fancy, but it was generally well maintained. However, on the left side of the property there were downed trees, some trash, an old hanging swing, an old deteriorating stairway and other unsightly areas. I don’t know whether this was actually part of this property or the neighboring property, but it definitely detracted from the setting.Our biggest disappointment, by far, was the lakefront. The listing photos show the dock surrounded by beautiful water, which was one of the reasons we chose this property. When we arrived, we discovered that Lake Keowee was approximately 13½ feet below normal level, and much of the area around the dock was essentially mud. The reality looked very different from the lakefront setting shown in the listing photos. Photos were deceiving.

Thank you for your feedback and for recognizing our home's cleanliness, comfort, and well-stocked kitchen. We take pride in maintaining a welcoming, affordable lakefront home. We'd like to clarify a few points. We provide two pillows per person, allowing guests to adjust their comfort and support. While pillow preferences are subjective, we strive to accommodate our guests. Our cookware is maintained in good working condition, though some pieces may show normal wear. The downed trees and older structures mentioned are located on neighboring property outside our control. Most importantly, our listing clearly states in its first paragraph that lake levels fluctuate, particularly during drought conditions. The recent severe drought has left Lake Keowee exceptionally low. Our photographs accurately depict the waterfront at full pool. While we understand your disappointment, we respectfully disagree that the photos are deceptive, especially given our prominent disclosure. We intentionally price our property competitively to provide exceptional value for a four-bedroom lakefront home with a private dock, kayaks, paddleboards, fire pit, and numerous amenities. We believe our combination of affordability, location, and amenities offers guests an excellent Lake Keowee experience. We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained vacation home.

We had a great family trip to this lake home! The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and the kayaks, paddle boards were great!! We fished and caught/released some catfish and a bass! Fun time hanging on screened back porch and grilling out!

Ryan's home was perfect for our extended weekend stay. The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. I am quite particular about cleanliness and was 100% satisfied with this home. From the bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen to the outdoor screen porch and furniture. Everything was clean and comfy. So many comfortable qualities made us feel right at home.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Last Minute Surprise Getaway

We found this place last minute and was blown away at how great it was. Within 10 minutes of arriving I caught a fish off the dock and my kids were enjoying a little paddle boarding! The house has everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. It was easy to relax and enjoy the lake without worry about anything. The beds were comfortable, the porch was relaxing, and the cove was quiet. Two king beds made it perfect for two families as the adults had great sleeping arrangements. We had 4 kids 8-11 y/o and they had plenty to do. We also rented a large pontoon from Sunset Marina (two coves away) and the boat fits great in the dock. I’ll def rent again and tell my friends about it.

This is a very nice property to stay for peace/quiet and to relax. It was nearly perfect… We were able to visit with family on the patio and enjoy some water activities on the dock/lake. The only negative was that we had no Internet at all. The WiFi connected but no connection to the Internet. No computer, no cell phone, no TV for the entire stay. There was very limited cell service here as well (Verizon & AT&T) and the T-Mobile Internet supplied by the property did not work at all. Not an issue for some, but we were unable to complete work items and had to make arrangements to go elsewhere to do this. The hosts communicated throughout, but had no control over the lack of Internet connection.

Thank you for your review Jonathan. 3 days after your check out we did have fiber installed in the neighborhood and we were able to have fiber brought into the home. We are terribly sorry for the issue you had during your stay. We did end up having an issue with the TMobile router during your stay. Duke power had a scheduled power outage just before check in and the router would not connect after repowering. TMobile was also not able to gain access. We did call and text to see if you'd be able to reset the device again during your stay, but unfortunately our timing did not align. We are very sorry for your experience during your stay, but reassure you and future guests that Internet connections will not be an issue with the newly installed fiber with UpCountry Fiber.
