Nyd Lake House solopgang og solnedgang på den store veranda i en stor gård på en rolig culdesac.
Nyd den spektakulære udsigt over Lake Windemere og de canadiske Rockie Mountains! En to blok gåtur til Station Pub, Copper City Saloon, busstransport til Panorama Ski Resort, Kinsmen-stranden og centrum af Invermere.
Et åbent koncept-stue med pejs er indrettet til komfort med wifi, et stort L-formet chesterfield, 52 'kabel-tv, DVD-afspiller med et bibliotek med film, bøger og spil.
Spisebordet udvides til at sæde otte, det omkringliggende køkken er fuldt udstyret med alle apparater, opvaskemaskiner og redskaber til at hjælpe med at forberede et stort eller enkelt måltid.
Saml dig bagpå i gårdhaven for at stege vandrere og smores i den åbne pejs.
Den overdækkede terrasse uden for stuen er også vært for en grill, der er stor nok til at give en perfekt sommerfest til familie og venner.

Perfect Family Getaway! Our family had the most wonderful stay at this VRBO property, and we couldn't have asked for a better family vacation. The property is outstanding—spacious, beautiful front garden, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the amenities. The stunning front patio offered breathtaking views of the lake and mountains—our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening family suppers. The owners were delightful to deal with—kind, and thoughtful. Thank you Wendy and Doug for your warm hospitality. We can’t wait to see you next summer!

Another great stay at the lake house!

We returned to the Lake house for a second time, and its stil a perfect home away from home, containing everything you could need during our stay, even down to the pool noddles for fun at the beach. Our teenagers loved the fact they were a short (10min) bike ride to the beach and bakery! When we weren't on the beach, we were either soaking up the amazing view of the lake from the front deck. Wendy and Douglas were great hosts, from the freshly baked cookies on arrival, to the fresh rhubarb and banana bread for the journey home, they both made us feel right at home. Thanks Wendy and Doug!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family had the most wonderful week-long stay at this VRBO property, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything about our stay was fantastic. The property itself was a true gem. Spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we needed, it felt like a home away from home. The open living area allowed us to spend quality time together, and the well-appointed kitchen made cooking a breeze. Perfect home away from home with an amazing view!

The Lake house was a perfect home away from home, containing everything you could need during our stay, even down to the pool noddles for fun at the beach. The property was very clean and spacious, and our teenagers loved the fact they were a short (10min) bike ride to the beach and bakery! When we weren't exploring the Columbia Valley, we were either soaking up the amazing view of the lake or watching the deer from the front deck. Wendy and Douglas were great hosts, from the freshly baked cookies on arrival, the surprise brisket half way through our stay to the fresh rhubarb and banana bread for the journey home, they both made us feel right at home. We will be back!

Wonderful stay

We had such a fabulous week based from this lovely quiet location. The house is older and well-maintained. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was well-stocked. The weather was hot and the air conditioning was appreciated though the house does stay quite cool. We were surprised the house was so quiet. There are neighbours but we didn’t hear them. Our 6 and 8 year olds didn’t complain about the walk to the beach which took less than 10 minutes. It’s also a close walk to town. Wendy and Doug were great hosts who gave us cookies, jam, fresh mint from the garden and were kind to the kids.

Clean, quiet, comfortable

We found the property to be very clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The kitchen had everything imaginable available. The main feature was the deck out front with the amazing view and the very quiet location - even though it was a very short walk to the beach and town. Slept with the windows open each night to take advantage of the breeze (there is AC) and never heard a peep. Owners right next door so they checked in on us to see how we were doing and offered some great local advice.

Another Fantastic Week in Invermere

We returned for our second visit to the Lake House and had another wonderful week. Wendy and Doug have added an air conditioner to the main living space, which we enjoyed in the hot weather for the first half of our week, and we were also greeted and sent on our way with Wendy's delicious cookies. Highly recommend this property, we are already looking forward to when we can back for a third visit to Invermere.

Lakehouse

We loved staying at the Lakehouse! The view was beautiful and it was just a short walk to the lake. It was clean and accommodated our large family perfectly! Wendy was more than kind to provide cookies on our arrival and then dropped off homemade jam and banana bread throughout the week. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful lake house

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house very much. The house is fully stocked and has everything you need. It is overlooking a lake that is within a short walking distance. The owners are very friendly and polite and will answer any questions you have. We were welcomed with freshly baked cookies and were also gifted with a delicious rhubarb jam. Beautiful view…..

We could live here says it all…..well equipped family home with friendly on site [next door ] owners. Invermere is a lovely town..we visited three beaches….also did the Golden Skybridges, Radium and Fairmont Hot Springs, Fort Steele and many forest hikes. Had barbecues and s’mores at the Lake House most evenings enjoying that lovely view. Only downside was the bottom double bunk that my son and his wife used…a double and single bed in that room may have been better. …but all in all a lovely place for a family break…thanks Wendy and Doug….

The VIEW!

We had such an amazing stay at The Lake House! The front deck is to "die for". We never turned on the tv as we wanted to be outside on the deck as much as possible. Amazing Stay!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The Lake House was very well stocked and was the perfect setup for our family. The view of the lake is breathtaking and the place is spotless! Invermere Lake House.

The house has everything you need and more. Great access to the beach and surrounding activities. The personal touches made us feel right at home and welcome. Would highly recommend the Lake House to anyone and gladly stay there again.

Another awesome vacay!

My family returned to the Lake house this past week after staying there exactly 3 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see that not much has changed with the exception of the beautiful landscaping and exterior finishing. The house was still well-stocked with necessities such as coffee, filters, salt, pepper, soap, extra t-paper, Kleenex, Saran Wrap and even frozen beer mugs ready for happy hour! I was again impressed at how soft Wendy’s towels are. (Gotta find out what she uses!) Wendy and Doug live next door but we never saw or heard them unless we needed something. Tv remote batteries died and with an email, Doug showed up next morning with a 4 pack of AA’s. Wendy welcomed us with a basket of her delicious cookies (and even milk bones for our fur-babies) and later left a surprise jar of yummy rhubarb jam at our door. Luckily we missed the 40 degree heatwave by 2 days so absence of AC was not an issue. I think what sets the lake house apart from the average vacation rental is Wendy and Doug’s attention to the details and customer service. We will definitely be returning!

Great summer family vacation

We stayed at the lake house at the end of June. I was there with my husband 2 year old daughter and my parents. The location of the property is amazing and was PERFECT for us being there with a young family. We were a 5 min walk to the park/beach/splash park and a 10 min walk to the town/shops. It is a quiet street so we would play in the front yard or the back yard got nice a shaded for hot afternoons. The view of the lake was lovely, we had dinner on the front deck every night. The house was SO well stocked, I agree with other reviews that this is probably the best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in. Wendy and Doug are lovely. They were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We loved our time here and would definitely book again!

Even Better than the Photos

We had a fantastic week relaxing at the Lake House. The view out over the Lake from the front deck and front room is beautiful. There is plenty of space inside to hang out together or find your own spot for some alone time. The kitchen has more equipment than you could possibly need, and the BBQ and fireplace out back save you from having to use it all the time too. The beach is a short (less than 10 minute) walk down the hill, and downtown is maybe another 5 or 10 minutes from there. Thanks for having us, we're looking forward to another stay in the future.

Wonderful hospitality!

Wendy and Doug go far above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable one. Everything you would need is available. The only challenge we had was that there was no air conditioning in the summer, especially when there was a heat wave. Otherwise, we highly recommend this property to families!

Home away from home

During these difficult times of Covid-19 we were looking for a quiet and safe getaway and we found that and more at The Lake House. The house is situated at the end of a very quiet cul de sac, with a fantastic view of the lake off the front deck and from the front room. It’s within walking distance to the popular Kinsmen Beach and the beautiful Main Street downtown. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed with the curb side appeal, and the cleanliness of the outside and well cared for garden and deck. Inside the home was spotless and appears more like a well loved, lived in home that is beautifully and tastefully decorated than a typical rental property. The home has everything you could need with the kitchen being the best stocked VRBO property I’ve ever stayed in. I truly appreciated the quantity and quality of all the kitchenware. There are plenty of towels, including beach type towels and many good quality cloths for various uses. I appreciated the little extras where there was salt, pepper, sugar, spices, tea, ziplock bags, wrap, dish soap etc available. A nice touch! Also truly appreciated the beach chairs, sun umbrella and swim noodles. Bedrooms were perfect for our group with lots of drawer and closet space with organizers. We made use of the fantastic front deck every morning and evening and spent many hours just enjoying the view and wildlife. Neighbours were super friendly. Wendy delivered wonderful home baked cookies upon our arrival and on my birthday I came home to a lovely thoughtful gift left on the front porch. My daughter wanted to stay and live there 😂. Wendy and Doug have done this right! They are readily available, friendly, but not intrusive and top notch hosts. Absolutely loved our week. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Great stay

Place had everything we could possibly thing of and was absolutely great; the fresh baked cookies when we arrived were a really nice touch! We really enjoyed sitting on the front patio, taking in the lake and wildlife - we had deer and wild turkeys walk by daily. Perfect in every way.

Great vacation house!

There were 4 of us enjoying a week out of city. This was the perfect spot! - The backyard was great for our dogs. - The front patio has an amazing view and was a great way to spend the day reading, lounging in the sun. - This place is located just a 5 minute walk from the beach and a pretty easy walk to "downtown" Invermere. - The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need to cook good meal. - This location was also great to see the local deer run about, with a doe and fawn hanging around. - Wendy and Doug were great hosts and readily available for any questions or issues (and her Rhubarb jam is very tasty!) Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The lake house

Wendy the owner thought of everything. I don’t think there was anything missing from this well stocked bungalow. It’s in a perfect location for all the local amenities. Perfect size for our family. Definitely will be back.

Introduced to Invermere on the Lake and Panorama Ski Resort after being invited by friends for a ski weekend many years ago. The drive to Invermere from Calgary, traversing the Continental Divide is magical!. The winding highway drive through the majestic Mountains is breathe taking, and the wildlife you might come across such as moose, elk, big horn sheep, deer, grizzlies, black bears and at Christmas even a wild turkey, but our favorite siting was this year the Majestic White Mountain Goat, amazing!! Always have the camera ready for that Kodak moment!!
After purchasing the property eight years ago we made a decision to retire here and renovate the Authentic Lake House with complete privacy to share the Invermere Experience with others!!
Come enjoy Invermere on the Lake with us, it's like no other!!
