overall the stay was okay i don’t like how it was dog hair all over the couches and the hot water didn’t work like at all the neighbors dog was barking the whole night we barely could sleep

The place was really cute with a lot of natural light. The surrounding neighborhood is great. It was the perfect place to stay for the marathon.

We had a great experience. The place was clean and had a lot of character. The check in and check out process was easy. Dan had great communication with me. We walked to Miami Cafe around the corner and recommend it to anyone who stays here. The atmosphere and neighborhood had a lot of character. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location to get to games at the enterprise center. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Communication with the host was easy!

Stayed for a little getaway during our kids' (5yr,4yr, 1.5yr) spring break. It was the perfect amount of space for the kids. The location was close to everything we planned to do (Zoo, City Museum, Union Station, and great restaurants). The place had dust bunnies and stray hairs upon our arrival, but overall was pretty clean. Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a simple place to stay near all the main attractions.

Great little place to crash. Had some communications with the host about the fireplace, and TV remote. Otherwise it's a great neighborhood with great food.

The property was very cute. There were a few things that could have been done like more lighting out back. Oven mitten and more pots and pans in the kitchen.

It seems they are in the middle of a remodel, and there are some unfinished things. I had to buy some basic cleaning supplies. Its a cute little place, not sparkling clean but it isn't messy. I would stay here again, but my initial thoughts when I walked in, I was a bit disappointed.

This property is okay if you're passing through St. Louis and need a place to crash for a night or 2. However, the pictures in the listing are better than it actually is. There's stains on the carpet on the stairs, walls and ceiling upstairs. There is also steel wool stuffed in cracks all over and mice bait downstairs. Traveling with children this made me nervous but we didn't actually see any mice. Also, it claims there's laundry but the dryer doesn't work. We left with a bag of wet clothes because we couldn't dry them. There's also a outlet upstairs in the bathroom that doesn't work. If you're staying in the summer just be warned it gets hot upstairs and was uncomfortable to sleep. There is 1 standing fan in one of the bedrooms though that helped a little bit. The little balcony in the pictures? The bathroom is bigger than that and all you see is the brick wall right next door that's inches away. The one good thing about this property was the shower. The hot water never ran out and the pressure was great! The neighborhood wasn't bad. It was pretty quiet. Parking is on the street in front of the building. It is attached to another unit next door which we sometimes heard the people coming in and out. They did leave plenty of towels. We didn't really have much communication with the host but I really wish we had been contacted if they were dealing with a mice issue.

We were happy to find this rental in a great location with a budget price. We enjoyed walking to eat at some great restaurants and the safe location and good parking availability. The host mostly replied immediately to our questions but did not resolve all the issues nor offer any refund because of them. Our disappointment stemmed from the fact that the online pictures were so wonderful, but in reality the unit was not fully as described. We were also disappointed with the overall lack of cleanliness, such as the stained carpet and obvious dirt on baseboards, etc. Perhaps our expectations were off, but in general, the unit did not provide certain things we’ve come to expect from other stays we’ve had in vacation rentals, such as plenty of bath towels and washcloths, kitchen towels, and soap for the shower. Basic kitchen supplies for heating up food or preparing a simple meal were also not available, such as cutting boards, cooking pots, serving bowls. There was one skillet and one larger cooking pot. The unit was supplied with knives, miscellaneous cooking utensils, glasses dishes, silverware. There were no blackout curtains in the bedrooms or noise machines as described. The bed in one of the bedrooms had a visibly bent frame which resulted in an uncomfortable sleeping experience. The garbage disposal was not in working order and a fan was not provided in one of the 2nd floor bedrooms on this 80-90 degree weekend. We do not plan to stay with this host again.

We arrived to the property around 8:30 at night. Check in process was easy. When we got in, it smelled like stale cigarettes and weed. We brought all of our things inside and then I noticed dirt clumps on the floor. No problem, there was a broom to clean it up with. As we went upstairs, the walls were very dirty, including a liquid that looked like it had been spilled and ran down the wall. I also noticed that there was steel wool stuffed in every nook and cranny. I know this is used to deter mice so I started taking a closer look and saw mouse poison in the kitchen. Then I saw a dead mouse in the air vent. I immediately contacted the host who was very responsive and helpful. I told them we could not stay there and needed to find a hotel to stay in. They apologized for the inconvenience and immediately offered to refund our money. He stated this is not the standard that they expect. I do appreciate their help but I hope that they made some changes immediately to the property.
