Fantastic property, fully fitted out for our group (dishes, beds, appliances etc). The cabin is comfortable and clean, and we loved both inside and out (pool table, games, firepit). Wendy was super helpful and easy.

We loved our stay! Cabin was well stocked and very clean. The location was great for both lake time and visiting neighboring towns. Having the boat was a plus. The owners were very responsive with a few issues we had and ensured our trip went as smooth as possible! Our family enjoyed days on the lake with fishing and swimming and fires at night. Having firewood on site was definitely a perk! It was a very relaxing trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The lake access was amazing, and the pontoon boat was definitely a highlight—we enjoyed getting out on the lake every single day. The house had everything we could have asked for, with great amenities, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time together. The pool table was a big hit. Great trees for hammocks. Plenty of good firewood. Excellent location. So many good things to say. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Wendy's cabin! The property was exactly like the pictures, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

If I could give the property and our hosts a TEN I would! The process of check in and out was smooth as could be. The property was spotless and our hosts thought of everything including plenty of wood for toasty evening fires. The kitchen-in terms of dishes and cookware was the best I have ever seen in a rental property - we lacked for nothing. The beds and pillows were beautifully comfortable. And we caught fish - lots - many right off the dock! Which was amazing. Honestly, doesn't get much better than this if looking for some quality get-a-away time. A fine place to stay with friendly, attentive hosts. Well done!

Everything at the cabin was fantastic!! Wendy was VERY responsive to all inquiries and was very accommodating with our requests. Check-in and check-out was easy. The whole cabin was very clean and the kitchen had all the supplies that we needed. O'Brien Lake was beautiful...very clean lake! The pool table was a fun attraction for all of us!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The open floor plan made it feel spacious and inviting, and the yard was absolutely stunning.One of our favorite features was how easy it was to get to the lake. Just a few steps from the cabin led to the dock, where we enjoyed crystal clear water and a sandy walk in beach area that was perfect for swimming and relaxing.The fishing was fantastic! We caught plenty of panfish, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and northern pike. Having the pontoon available made the experience even better as we loved exploring the lake, fishing different spots, and simply enjoying the beautiful scenery from the water.Wendy and Greg were exceptional hosts. They were incredibly helpful, responsive, and maintained open communication throughout our stay, making everything easy and stress free. It was clear they genuinely care about their guests having a great experience.This cabin was the perfect combination of comfort, relaxation, and outdoor fun. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway!

We had the BEST girls’ weekend at this gorgeous VRBO! Private but not isolated, and only minutes from town. Wendy, the owner, was amazing—her tip to use Ole’s Shuttle Service was spot-on and her suggestion that we check out Moonlite Bay was PERFECT! The house was perfect for our group: three bathrooms (game-changer!), super comfy beds, spectacular lake and the cutest décor. We laughed, relaxed, and made so many memories. We’ve never stayed at the same place twice… but we’re already planning to come back next year!

Very beautiful, very well kept. Amazing views and very relaxing. Would definitely revisit again as well as recommend to anyone to at least try it once. I was also very surprised with all the extra amenities it had in the kitchen which was very helpful for us in that it was less things the we had to pack and take with us or purchase from the neighboring storesl

I had a fantastic stay at this cabin! Everything was clean and well-maintained, which made settling in super easy. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful—she got back to me quickly whenever I had a question.The kitchen was impressively stocked with extra utensils, cooking supplies, and more than enough gear to whip up meals without a hitch. It really felt like she thought of everything.Fishing was a highlight—peaceful, plentiful, and just steps away. Whether you’re looking to relax or reel in a few catches, this spot delivers.I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!

Lake stay

We were very impressed with the property. We enjoyed the boat parade on Saturday and the fireworks show on Saturday. We also enjoyed the fireworks in Crosby on the 4th. We made use of the canoe and some of the other games on sight - pool, cornhole, etc.The accommodations met our needs perfectly. The bunk toom worked well for the 18 to 21 year olds.This booking was a last minute substitute for a booking we had in Walker that got cancelled last minute. It wasn't our desired location which was Walker, but would definitely consider again because of the nice amenities.

We had a wonderful Fall weekend at Sunny Shadows! Home is beautiful with stunning views of the lake and trees from the many windows and even from the great fire pit with plenty of dry firewood.We also had a lot of fun playing pool in the amazing pool room (which also includes breathtaking views of the lake). We’d definitely love to return in the future!
