Our stay had some positives, but there were also several issues future guests should consider.Prior to booking, we confirmed through the platform that we could check in at 11:00 AM and check out at 12:00 PM. When we arrived around noon, we were greeted by David, who stated check in was 3:00 PM and that we needed to leave before 11:00 AM on departure day. This contradicted the written agreement. When we showed the messages, he said he was not the one handling communication and was unaware of the arrangement, but still insisted on the earlier checkout. To avoid conflict, we agreed to leave at 11:00 AM, which created unnecessary stress. There is also a strict no shoes policy. During the walkthrough, we were asked to go outside without shoes in the middle of winter to see the backyard, which felt uncomfortable. The interior is okay overall, but there were cleanliness concerns. When we turned on the kitchen vent while cooking, dust came out into our food, forcing us to dispose of the meal. Some dishes also appeared unclean, so we rewashed them. The home is directly attached to the owner’s residence with thin walls. We could hear conversations, movement, and a barking dog, which affected privacy. The hot tub area is also close to the owner’s windows, limiting separation. We did enjoy the hot tub, jacuzzi, and sauna and left the property clean. This may suit guests comfortable with close host proximity, but those seeking privacy should clarify details in advance.
