Velkommen til Destin, Florida med sukker-hvidt sand og smaragdgrønne vand! Vi har et rækkehus med tre soveværelser, to og en halv bad fuldt møbleret med alle køkkenmaskiner, håndklæder, sengetøj, tæpper og endda badehåndklæder! Du kan parkere lige ved din dør (ingen overfyldte elevatorer eller parkeringspladser til at trække din bagage igennem!).

Der er en pool omkring 25 meter fra vores hoveddør og en anden tættere på stranden. Bare en kort gåtur over walkover-broen over søen og derefter ca. 150 meter til stranden.

Der er 3 soveværelser, et med en dronning med et komplet badeværelse, 2. soveværelse har en fuld seng og det tredje soveværelse har 2 enkeltsenge. To af soveværelserne har tv. Familieværelset har et tv med en dvd-afspiller! En helt ny sovesofa med udtrækning og kærlighedssæde også i familieværelse til at lægge på og se en film på dit tv!

Der er også et vaskerum på første niveau til din brug, så du kan gå hjem med rent tøj!

Der er mange faciliteter at nyde på Southbay, to oplyste tennisbaner og to store puljer (en opvarmet, 2 babybassiner også). Naturligvis den fem mål store ferskvandssø, som du kan fiske i lige ved et lysthus. Derefter en kort gåtur (5 minutter) til den private strand uden gader at krydse!

Der vil være nogle strandstole og en paraply til dit brug, også badehåndklæder! Boogie boards og andet strandlegetøj! Der er en vogn til at trække dine ting ned til stranden.

Southbay by the Golf ligger i hjertet af Destin. Der er et stort afsætningsmarked ca. ti minutter væk! Der er mange gode restauranter i nærheden for at nyde! Hvis du er en golfspiller, er der flere gode baner! Super Wal-Mart er mindre end fem minutter væk, og du har en købmand lige over gaden!

Der er flere butikker og restauranter, som du kan gå til! Big Kahuna vandland er kattehjørne fra Southbay for hele familien at nyde! Mange minigolfbaner og gokart og andre forlystelser for dine børn at nyde!

Kom og bo på dette smukke rækkehus, som du kan køre helt op til din dør og ikke behøver at rod med overfyldte elevatorer. Private strande, så du ikke behøver at kæmpe for de folkelige offentlige strande!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. A pool is available right outside of the condo. Beach access is available within walking distance of the condo unit. Close proximity to shopping, dining and recreation.

We were in town from Dallas, TX for a long family getaway weekend at the beach. The location was great for family and pets, right next to a pool and not too far from the boardwalk to the beach. We had a couple of great family games of Pickleball and lots of food and stores within walking distance from the unit. Great location.

The walk to the ocean was perfect 600 feet or so. Walk to the pool right across the street was perfect and yet everything was quiet the whole time we were there is an enjoyable stay

Good place to stay for a beach trip

Nice location with restaurants and stores in walking distance. Loved that the pool was right outside the door. The beach is a small walk but nothing ridiculous. Only bummer was that the beach connected to the property didnt allow any personal pop up tents or canopies. You could rent their chairs and tents but we usually have everything we need ourselves. Other than that we had no issues, the property itself was very clean and well maintained and would recommend to a friend.

Good stay

This property was good and very nice. We were just not is happy with how far the beach was based on the listing description. Also the gate code to the beach were not correct. Other then those two problems the place was great would definitely consider it again.

Sorry for the gate codes. And I advertise the beach as an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. I guess it depends on how fast you walk. Sorry for those 2 things.

Close to the pool and more spacious than the pictures reveal.

The condo was clean. Very close to the pool. The walk to the beach is a little longer than anticipated but it was shaded and scenic. The beach was gorgeous. I recommend going early in the morning and in the evenings it's less crowded by chairs and umbrellas and you are more likely to see dolphins during those times. I also recommend doing the events on Harbor Walk. And I recommend the Hydro Jet excursion over the dolphin tours. We saw more dolphins and had more interaction with them then on the dolphin cruise. Overall we had a great time my only complaint was the upstairs shower head hardly had water pressure. P.S. if anyone is sleeping in the pullout sofa bring a fitted queen sheets and a blankets.

Condo

The condo is in poor condition, furniture is very dated, floors, tub and shower dated, patio area cracked bench dirty needed to be cleaned or painted, table in patio old umbrella broken. Beach chairs limited and could not be used, had to pay $30.00 a day to go to the beach to rent chairs. Long walk to beach area. Paid way to much to stay at this condo. Air conditioning in upstairs not working well would not recommend this condo to anyone

I am sorry you were disappointed in this unit. Most people like those electric recliners, you don't have recliners in most units. Yes the bathrooms are on the list to be updated. Air conditioner at all these units struggle with the upstairs but people just crank it down as you all did when they go to bed at night. I will get some more beach chairs and a umbrella. I would have brought you some chairs and umbrella if I would have realized that those were not in good shape. Please let me know these things when you get there. Thank you

Wonderful Stay

Great location for the price! The property listing is in NO way misleading. The walk to the beach is NOT that far. We traveled with 3 teenagers and a 5 and 4 year old. The littles never once complained about the walk even after hours at the beach. The bridge was actually the highlight of the walk because the kids were fascinated with all of the turtles! I do recommend to take advantage of the wagon provided as this will make your walk much more pleasant. The home was clean upon our arrival. Upstairs was hot but we anticipated that due to heat rising and it being mid day….Easy fix….shut the doors to the rooms, turn the air to desired temp and utilize fans if needed! Make sure the sliding glass door stays shut so the unit does not have to work harder. The pool was literally outside the door which was great for the younger kids. There is plenty of beach toys for kids if you don’t want to buy any and beach towels furnished. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again. We had a small unforeseen issue but Lynda had it fixed within an hour. If your looking for affordability and a great location this is the place for you. There are things that need to be updated in bathrooms and areas around the house so if your looking to rent a “perfect modernized home” for this price, this is NOT the place for you. If your looking for a quiet, clean and family oriented home look no further!

Not recommended

Poorly maintained. Tried to make the best of my stay. Had dull headache for 2 days, kitchen ceiling vent had BLACK MOLD on the outer edges of the vent, I am sensitive to mold. Called the owner she came and cleaned the black mold, she told me her husband would come the next day for additional cleaning, according to the owner her husband stopped by but no answer at door. Why her husband could not text, call or leave a note is beyond me. Furniture is dark wood, dusty upstairs and downstairs. Kitchen faucet leaks. Patio furniture dirty with leaves and dirt, concrete in poor condition. Owner lists fire extinguisher and smoke alarm on property it isn’t Living room couch uncomfortable, kitchen table seats uncomfortable. Other condos in the area are modern, cleaner and updated for a comfortable stay. Upstairs hot and difficult to sleep comfortably needs dehumidifier. Way overpriced, do not waste your time. Well I don't know where to start. I came over as soon as she messaged me, I was there within 10 minutes. I cleaned around the vent which there was very little stuff on it but I cleaned it with some bleach. All the furniture was dusted but dust acrues very quickly especially darker furniture shows it within a day. The patio was swept off and table but there are lots of trees that drop leaves. And yes there are smoke detectors in the condo! Unfortunately sometimes you can't make some people very happy. Her nephew couldn't come so it was just her so I think she was pretty upset that she was in this 3 bedroom by herself. I am very sorry that you were dissapointed.

The condo was great. There were 8 of us that. stayed I n the condo and it was great to have the 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. We weren't that far from the ocean either. The rental agent, Linda was great.

Made the best of it

This is the second time our family has stayed in this unit and we were a little disappointed on the condition it is in. I hate to leave this type of review but feel people should be aware of the condition of the condo. The kitchen has very few pots and pans so bring your own. There are no serving bowls. Plenty of plates and bowls. The dishes were not very clean when we arrived. We found large roaches in the unit through out our stay so do not leave food out!!! When I let the management know I was told it was just a part of being in Florida. So don’t leave food out. They are mostly downstairs. The floors downstairs were not mopped prior to us getting in the unit. The unit was not thoroughly cleaned. The sofa and loveseat definitely need to be replaced. If you are counting on having someone sleep on it, bring an air mattress! Also the television downstairs has limited channels. The master bedroom has a bed that is very uncomfortable and the quilt is thread bare, bring a blanket. If you don’t plan on hanging out in the unit it’s a good place to stay due to the closeness to the beach, pool and shopping. The unit has a good washer and dryer and plenty of towels.

I am sorry you were disappointed in your stay. We are in the process of getting new couches. They are telling us the wIt time is pretty long for ordering it! As far as the pots and pans and serving bowls if you would have told me I would have bought more. Its hard to take inventory in the summer and some things break or go missing. I also would have remopped the floors for you or fixed any other cleaning issues. The large roaches are called palmettos and they come in when people open doors because they are attracted to light. And unfortunately it is a Florida thing. They spray 4 times a year and sometimes more if needed. Again sorry for your disappointment.
