Property was exactly as described. Clean, well furnished, and pet friendly! Host was friendly and responsive, and even made an effort to accommodate an early check in. Highly recommend this property!

Upon arrival, I was going upstairs to get the door unlocked and was greeted with poison ivy growing through the stair railing not a little but excessive amount. I had to find something to get it off the stairs because I am extremely allergic, I have to get shots if I get it. I found a rake. Inside, floors were not clean and counters when they were wiped left brown stains on the rag. Took several times of wiping before it was cleaned. There’s no mop, only a swiffer and there were no pads for the swiffer. Had to buy some before I could get the floors mopped. There are 4 ceiling fans in the house, the master bedroom did not work and there’s no other lights in there except the bathroom and the closet. The TV in the master turned on but you couldn’t get anything to work, has a fire stick but evidently the WiFi does not support streaming. 4 TVs and we couldn’t get anything of them to work on a consistent basis. There’s a pocket door in the second bathroom but it could not be operated because it’s pushed so far back in the wall. There’s no outside lights that worked while we were there. The backyard area to access the yard was grown up with canna Lillie’s and poison oak as well. I notified the owner and was offered a refund to find another property because they didn’t think they met my standards. Clearly, my standards were not the issues. While the house was extremely roomy and in a great location I can’t recommend it and I wouldn’t book it again.

We take great pride in maintaining our property and providing guests with a comfortable, enjoyable stay. However, we feel it is important to respectfully clarify several inaccurate statements made in this review. All lights throughout the property are fully operational. As previously explained to the guest, certain exterior lights are controlled by switches located in the garage area. These switches simply need to be turned on for the lights to function. All televisions are fully functional and provide access to streaming services. The issues described were related to difficulty operating the televisions rather than any malfunction or lack of available streaming options. Regarding the alleged poison oak, we have not identified any poison oak on our property. There is a tree located alongside the staircase, but this should not be misrepresented as a hazardous plant without verification. We would also like to clarify that the guest arrived before the scheduled check-in time and approached our cleaning staff while they were preparing the property. The guest offered to clean the property themselves in exchange for being allowed to check in early. Our cleaning team is responsible for ensuring the home meets our cleanliness standards before each arrival. We welcome constructive feedback and take legitimate concerns seriously. However, there is a significant difference between an actual property deficiency and a misunderstanding of how amenities operate. We believe reviews should accurately reflect the condition of the property and the experience provided. We stand behind the cleanliness, functionality, and upkeep of our home and remain committed to providing an excellent experience for our guests.

All the obvious things were clean!: bedsheets, towels, livingroom, couches. There was a lingering smell of weed, but that didn't bother me too much.The host was really nice and helpful with all my questions leading up to the event! And the distance to the beach? Perfect! So close to an access point to the coast and not a far walk to an icecream parlor. Neighborhood felt safe, too. But the cleanliness problems actually came when we found a sweet potato fry still in the dirty oven, wet grounds in the coffee machine, and the grill was not only greasy but had molded potato wedges in it. There was sand all in the floor of the primary bedroom closet.And the glass jar keeping seashells from tenants stays in it was broken when we arrived with shards of glass on the countertop. With all the main places cleaned, these all felt like oversights, but there were a surprising number of them. The place is advertised as having a grill, but with nonfunctional grill vents (stuck shut), we got smoked out pretty quickly. Still, it did grill the food; we were rather stubborn about sticking to the game plan: grill. No grill tongs though, or a scrubber so we went and bought our own. Aside from personal soft/hard bed preferences, the only thing I can complain about then is the fact that the middle bedroom beds squeak to heck. We put three guys in there and any time one of them rolled over, the other two woke up. Overall, a really fun weekend! Fix the grill and clean a little better.

I’m so sorry about the grill, we actually bought a new one and I’ve been on my honeymoon, so Lowe’s wouldn’t drop it off without a signature. We will address the oven issue, that’s unacceptable. As far as the seashell glass container, I think it’s best we remove it. If you ever decide to come back to Myrtle Beach, I hope we have the opportunity to redeem ourselves! We will have a jacuzzi and a pool for the next stay!😎
