The space at Lodge at Punta Rica includes:
- Six Private Suites:....Four suites with King beds and two with Queen beds. Each includes a private bathroom with hot water, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, a powerful ceiling fan, and a dedicated workspace.
- Waterfront Amenities:..... Enjoy our private beach and dock, a refreshing 32’ cocktail pool, and an expansive sun deck with chairs and umbrellas.
- Communal Spaces:....Gather in the Great Room, enjoy meals in the dining room, or relax on the expansive deck. The lodge also features a fully staffed bar and a beautiful garden area with expansive deck overlooking the ocean for yoga and bird/nature watching!

Guests will have full and exclusive access to all amenities and spaces at the lodge, with the exception of the private staff quarters and chef kitchen. Beautiful decking connects your spacious suite to the shared common areas, inviting you to explore.

The Neighborhood:
Embark on an adventure just three minutes away in the charming village of Old Bank, accessible by Water Taxi. Discover local Panamanian flavors at the nearby restaurants and bars.
For a serene escape, take a 30-minute hike to Wizard Beach or a quick 10-minute Water Taxi ride to Red Frog Beach and its delightful restaurants. Explore the neighboring islands of Isla Colón, Isla Solarte, and Isla Carenero, each offering unique experiences, all within a 10-minute Water Taxi ride.
Getting Around:
Explore the enchanting Bocas Del Toro archipelago using Water Taxis, the primary transport, ranging from $3 to $5 per person (higher rates apply after dark). Negotiate fares and confirm prices beforehand. On Isla Colon, the main island, bicycles and ATVs are available for rent, offering additional exploration options.
Other Things to Note:
We are located only a 5-10 minute boat ride to Old Town & Bocas Town. On our island (Bastimentos), you will be a short walk away from a few local restaurants and some incredible beaches. We offer you the use of our kayaks, SUPs, and snorkel equipment. Tours can also be arranged for you with advance notice.
