The Space:
Stonehaven on the Delaware is a breathtaking property with a rare English Tudor-style design presenting unparalleled views of the Delaware River and the forests of the Western Catskills and Pocono Mountains. Built in the 1930s using local bluestone, the property boasts 1000 feet of river frontage.
Upon entering, to the left is a spectacular great room with a vaulted ceiling, large stone fireplace and a 14-foot floor-to-ceiling window offering stunning views of the mountains and Delaware River. The room is furnished with two brown leather sofas plus matching armchair, TV, two grey single-seaters and a wooden coffee table. It features a built-in library bookcase, laptop friendly work area, Steinway baby-grand piano, Martin acoustic guitar and a carefully curated vinyl record collection.
A door leads into a country kitchen decorated with hand-painted tiles featuring white cabinets with brass handles, a walnut butcher block countertop, breakfast island and stainless steel appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area with a vintage display cabinet and a large dining table perfectly positioned to enjoy panoramic views as you dine. There is a powder room located both inside and outside the home.
To the right of the entrance is the first guest bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. Both guest bedrooms have two queen sized beds, TVs, large windows with lovely views complemented by elegant wooden furniture. The second guest bedroom has a workspace area. The master bedroom presents a king sized bed, TV, fireplace, large windows and French doors that open to the stone patio. The master bedroom and the second guest bedroom are to the left of the living room and share a bathroom which has a tub and shower combination.
For remote work, the home is equipped with fast fiber internet and a home office setup. A home generator ensures continuous power, and a brand-new central A/C and heat pump system keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
There is a spacious open air bluestone patio with elegant black metal dining tables, lounge chairs and BBQ grill. The gazebo and nearby Breeo firepit with Adirondack chairs offer views of the river - the perfect spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. Guests can fish in the river or take a swim with the provided life jackets. Set in a picturesque and serene setting, Stonehaven on the Delaware is designed for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty, ideal for those who appreciate rustic elegance and seclusion.
