We were expecting this review from you as we did had a lot of dialogue over your confusion with your bookings. As advised in numerous emails you reserved two homes initially at Reunion resort both with ourselves, one was cancelled as the initial payment was declined. You proceeded with the other booking, you paid your balance, paid the $500 security deposit, spoke with our office after being transfered from HomeAway and sent your ID the day before check in. We then sent your Directions and Door Codes. At no point did we send you anything about this reservation being cancelled. This was clearly an error on your part and you chose to try and blame us for this.

This luxurious home is on arguably the most prestigious resort in Kissimmee and you have rated it 2 stars – WOW. Also considering the fact the home is only ever rated 5 stars, your review is not sitting well with me at all! I think the 2 stars is more down to you ignoring our request to book pool heat prior to check in so that the service is guaranteed for your check in date – we were quite transparent with this on our multiple communications to you prior to your check in. You then requested this late Sunday night – 2 days after your check in date. As it was late Sunday evening, we advised that we would not be able to action this for you until the next day and this is when your tone changed and you became very demanding. Pool heat was then turned on for you once you had made payment. You did not contact us to say pool heat was not working once it was on and considering your messages to us I’m quite sure you would have been quite vocal about this had it been the case.

Marcus, I am disheartened by your review, as it appears to contain inaccuracies about the events that transpired. Firstly, I'd like to address the issue with the internet. Could you please verify this with your daughter, as our maintenance team discovered the router cables had been pulled out when they visited the home to deal with the issue. Your daughter acknowledged this and admitted to not reconnecting them after tampering with the router. Secondly, regarding the pool heating, while you did raise concerns multiple times, it's important to clarify that you did not report this every day during your 8 day stay. When you reported that the pool was "stone cold," we promptly checked our smart system, which indicated that the pool temperature was in the low 80s. Considering it was December during a cold period, this is considered a warm pool temperature. Nevertheless, we sent our licensed pool service company to inspect it further. Their evaluation revealed a minor leak in the pool filter, which, as we explained, did not impact the pool's temperature. The pool company also conducted manual temperature readings, which consistently showed the temperature in the low 80s. Despite this, you continued to insist that the pool was cold, even though a low 80s temperature in December is not considered cold. Throughout your stay, you repeatedly requested compensation and displayed discourteous behavior toward our staff, using condescending language in your communications. The pool company visited the property on three separate occasions during your stay, each time confirming the pool temperature in the low 80s, consistent with our daily smart system recordings. This is the first instance you've mentioned a dirty pool, but fortunately, our pool service company documents their visits with photographs and records of chemical levels etc which is emailed across to us immediately after a visit. Fortunately, this photographic evidence completely contradicts your claim that the pool was dirty. We value our guests and take their concerns very seriously which the previous guests reviews reflect but we also prioritize honesty and accuracy in addressing issues and would expect guests to do the same.

Thank you for your review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry you had issues with our management company. However, you were asking them rental queries and our management company only deal with the actual maintenance of the home. Before your vacation you contacted reservations on a number of occasions successfully, so I'm at a loss as to why you then called the management company after repeatedly being asked to contact reservations. Reservations provided you with a contact number, email address and we were also communicating through the data base on this site so I don't really understand your review to be fair. We couldn't extend your check out as we had a guest checking in on your day of departure and we needed time to clean the home. I know you were really unhappy with this but you were advised of the 11am checkout multiple times prior to your check in!
