The home was well set up with ample living, sleeping and closet space. Proximity to all the areas of the island was perfect and would definetly stay there again!

Exactly what we needed. Lovely property, nice back deck, clean rooms, two bathrooms, good kitchen provisions for cookware. Close to boat, and close to Mo's for lunch! We weren't in the house too much, except at night, we were visiting friends for an anniversary party. Wish we could have stayed a week and taken advantage of the bikes, outdoor shower, etc!

Great place to stay

Everything was just as described. The pictures don't do it justice. There is a living room and a den downstairs. The deck is really nice. It was too far to walk in the heat to the beach but it was a very short drive. I was nervous vecause it was my first time using VRBO, but now I'm glad I chose this home. The owners gave timely answers to my questions. Everything was great. I would stay here again.

Great weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our long weekend at John & Patty’s lovely home. The property was so clean and exactly as described. It was very well located - quiet neighborhood, but just a 5 minute bike ride into town. We made very good use of the bikes that come with the property, it was so nice that those were provided. John & Patty were very accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome. We would love to stay here again someday

Excellent location

Easy access to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. The house was clean and had everything you could need. Very easy directions for everything. We will definitely be back. Outside shower was very nice.

Fantastic Martha’s Vineyard vacation

This was a fantastic house with everything we needed for a week at Martha’s Vineyard. It has lots of amenities The location is great - close to both Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven.

Sweet Treasure!

We had a lovely stay at the Vineyard Dream! It was so perfectly located making for easy commute between Main St., Vineyard Haven and Circuit Ave, in Oak Bluffs. We found the rooms and decor so lovely, so sweet, just what we needed to put the hustle and bustle of the earlier days behind us. Walk into a clean and tastefully decorated living room and kitchen. There is a lovely bedroom on the 1st floor with double bed and room for a pack and play. With a quiet out of the way room across the hall and a bathroom next door, it greatly accommodated our grandson and his mom when they needed some down time. Upstairs there are two bedrooms on one side of the hall each with twin beds. Our kids took one and found it inviting and relaxing. And their grandmother took the other and couldn’t stop talking about how sweet her bedroom and the whole house was. And there’s more, upstairs as well on the other side of the hall is another darling bedroom with a queen bed. It does overlook the front living room, but it was perfect for us. All rooms have working air conditioner units and there is a ceiling fan in the living room as well. We took our breakfast out onto the deck; so delightful. John and Patty thank you so much for your attention to the details of your house and to us. We would love to come back for another stay.

Nice place

Clean, comfortable, and well managed. Linens, towels, soaps, shampoo, and conditioner not provided. Over all good place, close to Oak Bluffs, but not really walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice quiet location with great access

The house was exactly as listed with lots of accomodation for our partry of 5. The kitchen was well furnished and we cooked in all but one night. The property itself is very well maintained and the deck with outdoor shower was a real highlight. The master room is open to the downstairs so keep that in mind if you plan to stay up late in the living room and lower the noise level. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks John and Patty for the great communication and the early check in accommodations. We loved the house and can't wait to come back!

Cute cottage in a great location

We stayed here during our annual summer trip to Martha’s Vineyard and loved it! The location is fantastic and the layout is perfect for a family. We had four adults and two kids and it was enough space for everyone. Will definitely return!

Convenient & easy stay in Oak Bluffs

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our week in Oak Bluffs. The home had everything we needed, and was a quick bike ride to the gingerbread cottages & town. The backyard was spacious and we enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning. Thank you, John and Patty, for sharing your home with us.

Lovely Stay!

Myself and my girlfriends had a wonderful stay on Dreamers Way. The home was a perfect location - just a mile walk outside of Oak Bluffs which made it easy to get back and forth to explore. The kitchen was stocked full of everything you could need to make home cooked meals. Can’t wait to come back again!

Perfect location

Stayed to run the Martha’s Vineyard marathon and half marathon 2023 for a girl trip (5 gals). The house was a perfect location, walking distance to town and race (less than a mile). The house itself is exactly as listed with numerous beds, open living space for all, large kitchen area. Would definitely return to this house!

Beautiful Home!

The hosts, John and Patty, were great! Their home is immaculate and equipped with everything that you might need. The beds were so comfortable, and each room was adorable. They have a nice deck and spacious private backyard. The town is just a short walk away, but there are plenty of Ubers if you don’t want to walk. Stay here! You won’t be disappointed!

For the past 20 years, we have taken great pride in knowing our guests have had the best experience before, during and after staying in our home. We also know how much time and expense goes into planning a Vineyard vacation and we work diligently to ensure that we provide our guests with a neat, clean and updated home. We enjoy sharing our 'Vineyard Dream' and love of MV with our guests ~ many of whom become repeat visitors.
This is our second home on the Vineyard, (we rented our first home, Campground cottage, "Blue Heaven," to guests for 11 years.)
We enjoy maintaining our property as much as we enjoy the rental process and are always happy to offer recommendations, to anyone who is a new to MV, or compare notes on island favorites with seasoned visitors.

Our goal is that, after your stay on Dreamer's Way, you leave the island renewed and rejuvenated!

WHY WE FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS HOUSE WHEN WE BOUGHT IT:
THE PERFECT LOCATION!
Our private spacious haven is a comfortable one mile walk from downtown Oak Bluffs as well as a 10-minute walk to Tony's Market. You & your family/friends will enjoy everything that we do about the home: the large deck, a private yard and bright, sunny spacious living area to name a few of our amenities. The decor is cheerful and uncluttered with an open, airy feeling throughout the house. You will also enjoy preparing your Vineyard feasts with island vegetables and seafood in our well-stocked kitchen. We have many utensils, equipment & dishes for inside as well as outside cooking & entertaining. Being serious cooks ourselves, we know the importance of using only the best -- guests love the Henkels knives, Kitchen Aid mixer and the kitchen gadget drawer. We also have everything you need for a lobster fest: plates, butter cups and crackers. Our favorite spot to enjoy a meal and be together is the outdoor deck.

WHAT MAKES VINEYARD DREAM UNIQUE:
From the minute you set foot in the house, you will enjoy the bright, welcoming living area with a cathedral ceiling--the open floor plan gives the home great flow and there is a wide-open view of the living area from the second floor. The extra-large sliding glass doors in the kitchen open up to the 24' L x 14' W deck and patio set and fill the home with light from sunrise to sunset. Start the day by having your coffee on the comfortable patio furniture listening to birds and enjoying the breeze as it rustles through the tree-lined backyard. End your day in that very same spot after coming home from the beach & rinsing off in a luxuriously spacious outdoor shower with private changing area. Air conditioning & a large ceiling fan in the living room keep you cool on those hot summer days! Just around the corner on the first floor is a cozy den, a comfortable bedroom close to the bathroom, the quiet corner of the house, while three bedrooms and a second full bath await upstairs, all with comfortable mattresses. The open staircase, illuminated by a pendant carriage light enhances the warmth & magic of the house. The master loft bedroom on the 2nd floor is open to and overlooks the living room and has a skylight & shade that opens and closes. You can sleep under the stars if you wish. Our window A/C units in each bedroom cool the house to a comfortable temperature. This neat, clean & special home is a wonderful, family-friendly place to enjoy your Vineyard days!
