Welcome to Surfside Retreat Upper, your unique place in paradise! This newly remodeled property is located north-island with the beach access just steps across Estero Boulevard. A quiet relaxing location for that desired getaway, yet just a short walk along the beach is a kiosk for jet-ski rentals, parasailing rides, and even dolphin tours along a 7-mile stretch of white, sugary sand beach.

Super convenient to the restaurants near the north bridge. Trolley service along the boulevard is available to transport you to Times Square, with all of its restaurants, clubs, and night life.

The property has a fantastic front porch with ambient evening lighting that leads to the property entrance. The nicely furnished living area has comfy sofa, and TV with streaming. Dining area finds a table seating 2, and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything is available that you would need to cook daily multi-course dinners, or simply make a pot of coffee in the morning.

There are two beautifully decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, and plenty of dresser space and an ensuite bathroom! The second bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, and plenty of dresser space and an ensuite bathroom.

There is a private washer and dryer, as well as a propane grill that is shared. All lower levels have evening ambient lighting and privacy lattice work surrounds this area. You'll also find parking space accommodating 2-3 vehicles.

There are many restaurants and shops a short drive north across the bridge towards south Fort Myers. The same is true if you drive south towards Bonita Beach. Water activities abound with fishing charters, scuba and snorkel adventures, jet ski rentals, para-sailing, etc. Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well.

Dogs restricted to 25 pounds or less, certain breeds restricted, and additional fees apply. Pets restricted to dogs only, no other pets allowed and penalties enforced. Excess cleaning charges may apply.

Surfside Retreat Upper feels like the perfect quiet escape near the beach. The location can't be beaten and the space is comfortable enough to truly relax. It's exactly what you want for a low-key getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in FMB. Location is great! Close to Times Square businesses, and to the beach. Upper unit is spacious. However the place has much potential if the bathrooms are updated to what we’ve experienced at other stays. We also mentioned concerns about the entry staircase to Tony. Tony was very responsive to any needs we had, and even proactively brought some space heaters for some unseasonably cold nights. Hopefully Ownership will consider our suggestions for improvement to reach a 5 star status.

Location to beaches, perfect, shops w/in a few miles, but we went for Sun, and beach; upon check in there was a glitch, however, the property manager, was very responsive. Overall this place was perfect for what we needed, a couple of things would make this place stand out even more, warmer living room colors, and a fireplace under the TV (the cold weather didn't help) Overall would make it more cozy.

I had a great time at Surfside Retreat Upper—it's a cozy 2-bedroom spot just a short walk from the beach. The living area was comfy, and the location made it easy to explore nearby restaurants and shops. It felt like the perfect base for a laid-back beach getaway.

When we arrived, there were several cockroaches in several rooms. On morning three, construction workers woke us with hammering in the lower level. We waited two days then contacted the management company asking if the work would continue the entire two weeks we were staying. The mangement company said they'd ask the owner. We never heard back. We repeated the request and didn't hear back that time either. Again we asked and were told they'd reach out again to the owners. Finally, angry about this and the fact that the construction continued daily and until after 11 pm one evening we told the management company how disappointed we were and would reflect it in our review. We have been vacationing in Florida each year and have never had such an awful experience. We feel like we were taken advantage of.

Thank you for your response Connie. Please know the owner is working to fix these items and have since resolved them. Unfortunately, the construction was ongoing in the lower area and we asked the owner that they have minimal hours. They are now complete. Pest control is routine at this location, we scheduled them for service. As you know Florida has a variety of insects year round, and pest control does their best to mitigate this on routine service. We would have been more than happy to address them during your stay if we heard from you. Thank you
