Everything was perfect for our 10 adults. If you are parking more than 5 cars it can be a bit tricky but we were able to figure it out with 6. Great location for walking to all the downtown fun. Locale was clean and everything was as depicted in photos and descriptions.

This is a truly wonderful place. There's plenty of room for multiple guests. The ambiance definitely lends to the experience of visiting Gettysburg. Easy access with plenty of parking off of the street.

Excellent host! Great communication, extremely clean place, location, location, location!!!! Our host went above and beyond from giving us restaurant tips to giving clear precise directions and having all the amenities plus to make our stay exceptional!

Thanks so much for staying with us! And we so appreciate the feedback on the fridge. We are trying to balance keeping most of the historic charm with modern conveniences and found that in order to preserve the original, brick kitchen hearth we had to go with a mid-size refrigerator (~10 cubic feet). Switching the hinge direction makes total sense so thanks for that suggestion!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, and truly felt like a home away from home for the weekend. Our group has known each other for years through reenacting, so being able to stay together under one roof made an already special weekend even better. There were plenty of laughs, stories, and memories made throughout our stay.The host was wonderful to communicate with. Everything was explained clearly, and anytime I reached out with a question, she responded quickly and was always helpful. We also really appreciated the little details throughout the house, especially having an extension cord in each room. With a house full of people, that came in handy more than you would think!We are so thankful we found such a comfortable and welcoming place for our group to gather, relax, and enjoy each other’s company after our days of reenacting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had a fantastic stay at this rental in Gettysburg! The house was charming and spacious, easily accommodating our group of six. The living space had seating for everyone to relax, and the whole place was spotless. We loved being able to walk to dinner and explore the town. Highly recommend!

Lots of room and close to everything

We really enjoyed the house and will definitely come back when we visit Gettysburg again. The owner, Amy, had just closed on the property one day prior to our arrival. She was extremely helpful and responsive prior to, and during our stay. The upstairs did not have air conditioning under the previous owners but Amy installed 2 portable units (expect permanent mini-split units installed in the near future) upstairs prior to our arrival which we were very thankful for. Can't say enough about her or the house, which we loved. If you're looking for a place to stay while you explore Gettysburg, this place is perfect.

Overall the place was excellent, other than it should have been noted in initial add that two bedrooms upstairs were not air conditioned and that it isn't a toddler friendly setting . In addition our reservation was cancelled last minute as property was sold and we al.ost didn't have a place to stay for a graduation and family reunion with oast Guard granddaughter returning o erseas. Much stress oc urred until new owner decided she would do best to accomodate us. Central location was ideal.

Sylvia - We are so glad you were willing to be patient and flexible with us as we navigated the transition in ownership of the property! We would love to have you back...after central air conditioning upstairs is installed next week of course! :) While the lack of AC upstairs was definitely not ideal, (and news to us upon purchasing), it was important to us to be transparent and share this information with the previous owner's existing reservations as soon as we found out. Our hope was to both reassure our future guests that we are honoring their reservations after the sale and explain what we were doing to help with the lack of AC upstairs in the interim (installing portable AC units and fans). Timing of closing, existing reservations that we wanted to honor (that did not allow enough gaps in time for a central unit to be installed), and the untimely release of information to us made a few "bumps " in the rebooking unavoidable and for that we are SO sorry! We hope that you feel that we did whatever we could to make it possible for your family to still have a great stay in Gettysburg!

We were a family group -wonderful location! kitchen efficient but smaller. historic bldg so super cool, old & small rooms. Not a lot of common space., however we Would stay again in a minute!

We would definitely stay here again! The house was in great shape, considering the age. Everything was clean and organized well. The kitchen and bathrooms had all of the necessary items. Location is great and having 2 parking spaces was a bonus. To top it all off, the hostess, Amy, was super easy to communicate with and even checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything. A very beautifully restored civil war era house with great accommodations (that wasn’t cheaply done), easy in and easy out. We were a group of 5 and found everything we needed. Couldn’t have been happier and the owner/manager, Amy, was friendly and ready to help. I would definitely stay here again.
