Enjoy the best of urban and rural living! Tucked between pastures and farmland, this 4+ acre ranch sits between mature trees and nearby trails just a hay field from town.

Recharge in your home-away-from-home and watch the rescue herd of mostly mustangs play, snooze, and stare at you longing for treats. Minutes from downtown Longmont, close to Boulder, and near Denver & the Rocky Mountain National Park, the space is curated so you can soak up any downtime. Next door, a biodynamic organic farm offers fresh flowers, eggs, and produce. At the end of the block, discover the local favorite coffee shop, fresh pie & sandwich spot, and the insta-worthy mercantile store. (Is that what the kids call it..?) If that’s not enough to tempt your stay, around the corner awaits a beautiful, easy trailhead with ponds and stunning mountain views. To top it off, just a short drive away are farmers' markets, grocery stores, restaurants, shops, escape rooms, pottery painting, & more.

Your fully contained rental, with a fenced yard, shares one wall with the original ranch home but is not overlooked. Beautiful property, very quiet, very nicely decorated and appointed, host responded quickly to questions. Though in a very rural setting, the property is very close to shopping, restaurants, etc. and is a short drive to the mountains. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This property and host exceeded expectations multiple times. The accommodations were extraordinarily clean and so many helpful items were included. The kitchen was one of the most well laid out and well stocked we have ever experienced. The host was easily reachable and constantly offering ways to make our stay more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

My husband and I came to CO to celebrate his birthday and to be close to our son, who lives in Longmont. Our stay was peaceful, quiet, clean, had every amenity we could possibly need, and Thea responded to every question we had immediately! We also appreciated that part of the fee we paid goes to helping the beautiful rescued horses on the property. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at the ranch!

Awesome place, scenic, quiet, and peaceful. Everything was as pristine and neat as it gets. The host, Thea, was very responsive and insightful. Her recommendations were spot on. From pastries at Babettes, hiking at Chautaugua Park and Coots Lake, and shopping at the scenic village of Estes Park. Wish I was there longer. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to meet and greet the horses. Will have to plan another trip back. Loved the place. Highly recommend it!

I have stayed in a lot of places all over the country and this is by far one of the best places. So clean, super cute, and the host is super amazing. Nice location where you’re close to all the things but you get a taste of the wild/privacy, which was awesome. Do not hesitate to stay here! Also- I want to steal the bathroom and kitchen and put it In my house!!!!

This was a fabulous place to stay for our daughters graduation from UC Boulder! We stayed 5 nights and wanted to be a bit north of Boulder to be able to hike in Rocky Mountain NP. The place was quiet and just a minute out of Hygiene, CO. Exactly as described on VRBO. Beautifully maintained, well designed, clean and with all appliances and more. Hygiene has a great coffee spot and a great deli/sandwich place as well. Lots of local hiking and running trails. Absolutely recommend this for four to six guests.

Mustang Ranch is an oasis with the beautiful backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. The horses are a great touch. We enjoyed watching them while having morning coffee on the patio. Colorado was very hot during our stay but the ranch is shaded and provided excellent relief from the heat. This unit is incredibly clean and well air conditioned. It's also very close to anything you need in Longmont or Lyons. We were in need of nothing. The unit was very well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen and all spaces. Thea is an excellent host and communicates promptly and accurately. My wife and I enjoyed an extremely comfortable stay and I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you Thea

It was a perfect retreat for my daughter and I. The kitchen, adjoining dining area and den was wonderful. We loved being in this rural part of Longmont that was just minutes away from everything we needed but calm and peaceful in a nature setting with horses, bunnies and farm cats outside our windows. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom were thoughtfully done and met all our expectations.We loved the location of the property. So close to everywhere we wanted to visit like Longmont, Lyons, Lafayette, Westminster, Boulder/Pearl Street and especially Estes Park where we had breakfast at the Stanley Hotel then drove the Peak to Peak Highway stopping at Lily Lake, the Historic Church on the Rocks (St Catherine of Sienna) then descending down Boulder Canyon to Boulder. It was so beautiful!Our host was always available to us and made sure we had everything we needed during our entire 9 day stay.We highly recommend the Mustang Ranch Retreat!L. Wood and R.
