The proprietors of Sparkle House are Aunt and Niece duo, Shannon and Jamie. We are here for our guests and have worked hard to make the spirit of the Sparkle community one where people feel welcome, and where people can gather but also choose quiet privacy.
We make environmental/ sustainable choices as much as we can. Here are a few examples:
– Replaced gas-powered furnaces and water heaters with mini-split/ heat pump heating and cooling
– Added Solar
– Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are refillable from local Sebastopol “zero waste refillery,” Homebody Refill
– We discourage the use of plastic bottled water by providing pure, filtered well water that is tested frequently, and re-fillable containers
– Most of the art, decor, and furnishings were repurposed and sourced locally
