I’m Duane Cronin, a real estate developer, preservationist, and proud resident of Newport, Kentucky. As the founder of Diversified Capital Management and Diversified Construction, my passion lies in bringing new life to historic structures that have stories to tell.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive national recognition on the Inc. 5000 and Inc. Regional Awards lists, along with local honors for community revitalization and design excellence. I’m especially proud to be a four-time recipient of the Beyond the Curb Preservation Award, recognizing my work in restoring and reimagining some of Newport’s most significant properties.

My focus has always been on honoring the past while creating spaces that serve the present—transforming aging buildings into homes, venues, and businesses that strengthen the community fabric. Projects like the General James Taylor Mansion embody this vision, blending 19th-century craftsmanship with modern comfort and purpose.
