My family and I had a great time staying at Bear Tracts! It was a beautiful cabin with even better views. There was plenty of space for my group of 16 and there were fun games to keep us entertained. We also had multiple bear sightings so definitely keeps doors locked at all times. We did have a few issues, like the air hockey and pac man games were not working. A few issues with the toilets and the A/C not working properly on the second floor. Overall, we would stay at the cabin again!

We didn’t have the two pull outs that were listed on the listing therefore we were short beds for three people.Trash bin was broke so we had to drive up the mountain to get rid of our trash.

We apologized thet sleepers were removed. We responded to a previous review of the furniture needing replacing and we took action. As your guest count did not appear the sleepers were needed we did not give you advanced notice of this. We found after the fact your guest count was inaccurate. That is our mistake. We did everything we could after the fact to make it right. We hate that our actions were still deserved of a 3 star rating. Thanks for staying with us and

Great For a Large Family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Cherokee Dreams and it was a great choice for our family! There was plenty of room to spread out and everything was so clean! We saw bears on three different occasions, but they posed no threat to us! The game area and theater room provided space for the kids to be noisy while the adults enjoyed the spacious main floor! The only things I wish were better were the internet and the swimming pool. The water was so cold - even in the middle of July, and the internet just wasn’t good. Neither were deal breakers and it’s evident this property is well cared for. Having two of all appliances was a life-saver with our big group! The property was well stocked with anything we needed from silverware and glasses to cooking utensils and measuring cups and even a crockpot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was very nice. In a good location. A short drive through the beautiful mountains to all the activities. The house was good. We had 10 adults and 13 children 10 and under and we had plenty of room. The game rooms were a big hit with the kids. (Although very loud) Make sure you lock your car doors. The bears open them and go into your car with no problem. There is some maintenance issues that need attention. The movie room door just fell off the brackets all by itself. Glad no kids were under it. A chair just fell apart setting a 3 year old on it. The toilet in the master bathroom kept running-on and off. (slow leak in the tank) Silverware cabinet door kept getting stuck and hard to open and close. One of the benches at the kitchen table needs to be tightened up. Be careful walking on the desk, very easy to get splinters. (wear flip flops or crocks out there) Overall these are issues that can be easily fixed. If in the area again I would look into renting from bear tracts again.

The beds upstairs were so comfortable, the bunks were bunks and best suited for kids but were still great. The views were fantastic! The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. I suggest taking extra paper towels and toilet paper for large groups. My only hope is that the owners will replace the couches in the main living room. The leather was shedding. They were very disappointing and in awful condition

The layout of this cabin was perfect for our needs, with rooms for the chaperones and bunkrooms for the players. Having two refrigerators allowed us to keep meal food in one and the girls' snacks and personal food in the other. There were plenty of utensils for eating and enough space for everyone to be comfortable at meal time. The girls enjoyed the recreation games and the theater room. Because they were playing volleyball, they were not able to make use of the hottubs. The view was beautiful and the area was generally quiet. The short drive to Rocky Top Sports was fantastic.While there were a few inconveniences, such as no lamp in the living room (though a broken one in the closet?), limited living room seating for the number of guests in the cabin, cigarette butts on the front steps and dog feces on the upper deck, there were plenty of reasons to stay again!This was not our first visit to Gatlinburg for this tournament, but definitely our favorite cabin. We hope to visit again!

Our cabin was spacious and more than met our needs. We found the management to be very responsive to several issues that arose during our stay. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of games and activities for all to enjoy. The location is lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the numerous chairs on the deck overlooking the beautiful mountain views. The hot tubs were a hit though we used only one of them. Having dual refrigerators, stoves and dishwashers is a bonus for a large group and is the dining area. A few improvements would make it even better! The movie theater needs a redesign. The way the seating is laid out, the screen can really only be seen fully from the front row. The air hockey table needs new "pucks". The ones there were worn down so much it was unusable. The kitchen needs a deep cleaning inside cabinets and some reorganization by the owners would help. The floors also need a thorough cleaning throughout the main floor. The trash was a big issue. Because there are no containers close to the cabins, all the trash had to be driven down to a main location near the pool. The door on the trash container was not working so guests had to leave bags outside the container. This of course created a bear problem. While we really enjoyed seeing the local bear, but it prevented my husband and I from doing our usual daily walks. Overall, we loved our stay and with the above mentioned improvements, would probably stay again.

We loved the property. The main concern we had was the listing stated that there were two sofa sleepers with linens in nightstands or drawers/closets - one sleeper in the upstairs and one sleeper on the main level. However, there were no sofa sleepers in both areas only coaches and no linens to be found. We were counting on the use of these and had to make the best adjustments on our sleeping arrangements we could. The property was generally clean. Some of the guests noticed mold on the shower curtain liner and it was very dusty on top of the refrigerators where put a couple of food boxes on top to store during our stay. Our grand children enjoyed the arcades and the theater room. We enjoyed the scenery and having plenty of chairs to sit on the deck. We did not used the free attraction tickets due to plans to do hiking trails and visiting spots around the Smoky Mountains.
