Great cabin -clean, comfortable and easy to find on GPS. Bed was comfortable and the unit was great size for our visit. Surrounding area very peaceful. Would recommend this for a get away from all the noise!

Everything was wonderful and as described. There was a stray cat that affected my ability to enjoy the back deck because I am allergic. This was unfortunate, but obviously not the fault of the owner. We would definitely stay again.

This was such a cute, thoughtfully furnished little cottage. We had such a nice time. It is rather isolated, so definitely stop off at the Aldi in Big Rapids for snacks on the way! So cozy, so clean. We can’t say enough good things about it. Thanks for a wonderful weekend getaway!

Our stay at the Foreman cabin was so great! My family and I had a relaxing, 3-night stay and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful setting and scenic view in the woods by the lake. The hot tub was the highlight and the old arcade games were a fun bonus. Would definitely recommend!

The house was so cute down to every detail. The hosts were veey in tune wuth needs of a renter. Thouroughly enjoyed the hot tub that had a view of the lake. Cannot believe how comfortable the beds were. That never happens. I forgot my fan that is a must to sleep with and liw and behold there was one in the closet.The host was very fast at responding to any inquiries. Location was great for our needs to get to surrounding area for Blessings of the Bikes. We already booked for next year.

Overall a very good stay, excellent communication with host. Corners on the shower are a bit loose and could use tightening to prevent disasters. Also piece of trim in bathroom of the master bedroom is not cut to size or fastened. Other than that perfect! Would recommend to anyone!

Great little cabin! Super cute, had all new appliances and looks redone but kept all the wood for an “up north” feel. Host kept in constant contact throughout our stay and we had no issues whatsoever.

We had a great time on our trip! Brought our ATVs up for a Fall color ride and we were able to easily navigate to the trails. Cabin was very clean, location was scenic/private, and the hot tub was relaxing. Definitely a great place to stay for a weekend getaway!

We had an absolutely amazing stay!! This place is just perfect and everything is new!! It was exceptionally clean and taken care of. Great communication though our whole stay. Wish there was an option for more then 5 stars as it deserves that. Appreciate all the things that were thought of to make sure we had what we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back!!

Very clean and luxirious feeling cottage! Perfect for our romantic weekend getaway. Really thoughtful amenities. We especially enjoyed the streaming TV and shampoo/conditioner. Went to Shoey's in Baldwin and had the best burgers of our lives!

Property was very clean and pictures were very accurate. We used both the hot tub and the fire pit and they both worked well. Kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of extra linens.Communication with host was odd. I suspect they are using an AI chatbot to respond to simple questions which led to some miscommunications. They said that firewood would not be provided, and I understand that they do not ensure that there is firewood, so we purchased firewood. But there was a BUNCH of firewood at the property, so just check before you buy some.Seems a bit pricey for the location (can see neighbors clearly on both sides) but I would stay again.

We don't typically provide firewood, as we said in our answer to your question. But we recently had a branch come down and the logger we hired to cut it up left the wood there for guests to use. Also, occasionally other guests leave their unused firewood behind for others to enjoy.

We had the most wonderful winter getaway at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like stepping into a winter dream. Sitting in the hot tub while the snow gently fell and the breeze rolled through was absolutely magical — such a peaceful and unforgettable experience.The electric fireplace created the coziest atmosphere inside, making it the perfect place to warm up and relax after enjoying the winter weather. Every detail of the cabin was spot on. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything felt welcoming and well thought out.One of our favorite moments was simply sitting on the couch and looking out at the lake — the view was breathtaking and felt almost surreal. It was the perfect place to unwind and disconnect.Everything about our stay was perfect, and we’re already talking about coming back for another peaceful weekend. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a cozy escape with beautiful views and total relaxation!

This cabin is beautiful! Exceeded our expectations. It must have been renovated recently, and every single thing is new and really lovely. It feels cabin-like but modern. It had everything you’d need, from kitchen/cooking supplies, towels, bedding, laundry. The beds are insanely comfortable. Very private, there were a few other homes close by but still very secluded. I imagine the trees would provide additional privacy when they’re full in the warmer months. Can’t wait to come back in the summer! The only thing to note is the fireplace is not a real flame fireplace. It is electric and produces heat, but just a visual of flames and not real. Not a big deal, but something to note if you’re wanting a real fire.

Great little place! We travel up here every year in fall to spend a long weekend of doing very little. This cabin was pretty comfortable compared to a few we’ve stayed in. We mostly cook our meals and the cook ware was adequate which is about all you can ask for in a cabin. I’ve learned over the years to pack the things that I know I’ll need to cook the meals I plan but about the only thing I would have needed here would have been my knife. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Hot tub was nice and clean. Lots of little well thought out amenities as well. We Love being able to bring our dog with us. All in all a great quiet weekend away.

Went with another couple and the space was perfect for our needs. We used the grill as well as the hot tub and also appreciated that there was already some toiletries in the main bath (items such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash). There was leftover wood from previous stays so we did use that (but don’t rely on it) and one of the neighbors has a posting that you can purchase firewood from them however, they also have many private property signs posted so I’m not sure how you would go about actually buying from them. We did ask for an early checkout and it’s clear that it is a bot that replies however, when we did the third follow up, the host did reply to that one.Some things I would personally like to have known: this is a pretty secluded area - there is a fifth wheel that would be quite close had those owners actually shown up. It would’ve felt more like a campground, but they didn’t show so we had no issues. Also, when there are more 1-2 people in the house, it is great to have as many hooks to hang things as possible (bathroom and bedrooms). The main bathroom was the only shower and there was only one hook to hang your used towel on - not nearly enough for 4 adults. Would also be nice to have a small table to set toiletries in the half bath and possibly a small dresser in both bedrooms. I know this is personal to me.- I always check the dishwasher filter which I cleaned for them on day 1 - would recommend this is put into the cleaning rotation for staff.
