Spacious, pet-friendly, 2-bedroom house close to Portland Airport

Hi James, I am sorry the bed did not meet your requirements. I am glad however that the rental met your basic needs.

Hi Kendra, I apologize that the listing was not clear that I live in the adjoining space. I also apologize for my dog's barking. I don't often go out at night, and apparently he has more separation anxiety than I thought. I have taken measures to improve clarity of the listing and ensure my dogs are not left alone late at night when I have guests.

Thank you Patricia for your kind review! I am sorry you found the bed to be too soft; I thought it was too hard when I bought it so I put a foam topper on it...but perhaps I should take it off! In any case, thank you for staying at my property and I'm glad you were comfortable otherwise.

Our booking terms require all pets to be declared and the pet fee paid in advance. That fee remained unpaid after this stay. We're always happy to welcome respectful guests who follow the house rules. We take the cleanliness and upkeep of our home seriously, and we're sorry the space didn't feel fresh to you. Our listing discloses that the property is pet-friendly, and a cat tower is among the items pictured in the listing photos. Guests with allergies are always welcome to message us before booking so we can talk through any concerns. Regarding bed comfort, mattress preference is very personal. Some guests love the soft beds, and others prefer something firmer. We can't please everyone, and because quality mattresses are expensive to replace while they're still in good condition, we've chosen to keep them for now. We do appreciate hearing your perspective. We don't stock toiletries or coffee, and these items are not included in the listing description so that guests know what to bring. As for the driveway and the barking, we continue to do our best we'll keep both in mind. We wish you safe travels.

While I wish I could be at home with my dogs all day, unfortunately I am one person working full-time and do not have that privilege. However, my dogs are well-fed and walked daily, and I ensure they do not bark excessively when I am home from work (after 6pm nightly.) Thanks again for staying.
