Thank you for allowing us to host you, and we're so glad you loved this location and would stay here again! While we understand mattress preference is subjective, we haven't had any other guest mention needing extra padding. That said, we will definitely give it a thorough check. We know a great night's sleep is hard to beat. Unfortunately with our summer high humidity, it can cause smoke detectors to randomly give a chirp. Why it always seems it has to be the middle of the night, who knows, but we're sorry for the frustration. We do hope you plan that return trip and appreciate the compliments and feedback.

So glad your group had a great time at the beach—sounds like the house kept everyone from teens to pre-teens happily occupied, and you can’t beat being that close to the proximity to the sand! Thank you for the helpful notes as well. We’ve taken care of the wobbly toilet seat and replaced the shower curtain to keep everything fresh and comfortable for future stays. We also appreciate the tip on supplies—while we provide a starter set, we’ll look at ways to better communicate that for longer visits. We’d love to host you all again anytime for round two by the shore!

Beach homes each have their own personality, and while many guests appreciate this home's comfortable setup and value for its location near the water, we understand that décor, furnishings, and finishes can be a very personal preference. We take your comments regarding cleanliness and maintenance seriously and will review them with our respective crew members. We will also pass along your feedback about furnishings, mattresses, and updates to the homeowner, as this is their personal home and they guide those decisions. The coastal environment can be tough on homes with salt, sand, and humidity constantly at work, but we are always looking for ways to keep improving the guest experience.
