We have shared your feedback with the homeowners who would like us to deliver the following message: "With the exception of one 4 star review several years ago, this is the first less than a 5-star review we have received from dozens of large guest groups over a period of 8 years. While this is mostly a good review, there are several misconceptions by the guest writing the review. Guests, including this guest group, do not come through our living area – there is an outside entrance that is used by most. This guest must have mistaken the common area from the game room to the stairs leading downstairs as our living area. Most guests use the outside downstairs entrance, but the common area entrance is available, especially is bad weather. It is not our living area! It is hard to understand the complaint about the couch in the dining room needing to be replaced. There are 5 other couches in our facility in two family rooms (including a two piece $13,000 leather couch set in one of the family rooms). Why this group felt the need to huddle in the dining room/kitchen with one “uncomfortable” couch is difficult to understand. No other guest group has had this problem. Finally, while the kitchen appliances are several years old, no other guest group has had a problem with them. In fact, large guest groups in the past couple of years have used these appliances to cook Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners without any difficulty." We are sorry this was missed! -We let you how to manage the temperature difference between the levels. We wish you had contacted us if you had any further concerns. -We have plenty of dishware, measuring cups, silverware, etc. in the drawers. -We let our guests know in the listing that we have two showers. We haven't had any concerns with this not being enough, even with larger groups. Thank you for your feedback and your stay!
