Dear VRBO Support Team,I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience booking through VRBO. From the very beginning, the check-in instructions were unclear and unnecessarily long. After completing check-in, I was only given the address, not the apartment number, which led to confusion.According to the instructions on the app, I followed the address to an apartment that opened for me. Naturally, I assumed this was the correct unit. Before arriving, I had also spoken with your team over the phone but was still not provided with the apartment number.After settling in, my family and I left for dinner. About 15 minutes later, we realized my daughter had left her phone inside, so we returned to retrieve it. At that point, the lock would no longer open. This is when we discovered that we had been given access to the wrong apartment.When I called customer service to explain the situation, instead of receiving assistance, the representative raised his voice and blamed me for entering the wrong unit. This behavior was completely unprofessional. Eventually, I had to get a manager involved, and we were told to leave the property immediately. We had to return from dinner halfway through to collect our belongings because we were informed that our items would not be safe if we didn’t remove them right away.This entire ordeal was stressful, embarrassing, and unacceptable.I have used numerous booking sites over the years, and this is by far the worst.
