We had the best stay here. The home was well cared for, clean, and exactly as listed. We loved seeing wildlife out the patio doors. Cozy and comfortable. A perfect landing spot for our stay in the Black Hills!

We have used Vrbo for many rentals. This property was by far one of the best! It had alot of privacy, great views of the Black Hills and Hill City is within walking distance. The host was the best! It's well equipped with everything you need. You won't be sorry renting this unit.

Perfect vacation get away! Ideal location to all the area attractions. Clean, comfortable, and so friendly it was like staying with friends. Highly recommend.

Great location in Hill City. Easy to find. Within walking distance of grocery, shopping and dining. Host was very friendly and communication was great!

Everything about this VRBO was perfect. In fact, we have stayed in many VRBOs and this might be the best one yet. It is stocked with everything, has plenty of both indoor and outdoor space, is centrally located to all of the attractions, and has lovely extra touches that make life easier (notepaper, nightlights, Kcups, and more!). We even had a perfect view of the full moon over Hill City. One note of caution—there are steep steps leading down into it that might be difficult for guests with small children or mobility issues—but it was fine for us.

This was a wonderful home, it has a great view of Hill City. This was local to some of the best riding in South Dakota. Spearfish Canyon, Needles Highway, Iron Mountain, and Custard Animal Loop. Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse are just a some of the fin attractions. Will we back to stay again.

This was our favorite property of a 10 day trip. If we returned to this area, we would make this our home base and do day trips from here. Location is perfect. The owner wass very kind in all of his communication to ensure that we understood all information and had everything we needed.Everything was spotlessly clean - kitchen utensils looked new and everything you could need is provided.Having laundry facilities was a luxury much appreciated.Do note that you must go down a full flight of stairs to access the property but it is totally worth it.

We stayed in Hill City to bike the George S Mickelson Trail. Dennis and Tonya's accommodations are perfectly located to facilitate a single lodging locale to complete the entire trail in three to four daily segments. The home is within a quarter mile of the trail and within walking distance to downtown Hill City, including several excellent eating establishments recommended by the host.The location was not the only perfect aspect of our stay! The hosts had homemade blueberry muffins and cookies waiting for us upon our arrival. The accommodations were spotless, up-to-date and extremely comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked and great if you want to eat "at home". Every morning, we cooked breakfast and were kept company by wild turkeys and deer just off our patio.Two critical elements that can make or break our stay are the beds and the shower. Both hit a home run as the firmness of the bed was ideal and the shower had great pressure and a fabulous hot water supply . . . 2 thumbs up!The hosts were top notch . . . very responsive and flexible to our needs. Without any hesitation, we recommend Dennis and Tonya's house to everyone visiting the area.

Everything about this stay was excellent. This condo is beautiful inside and the view outside as well. Wildlife- turkeys, deer, visited. I would rent this condo again. Very close to downtown Hill City. Our host, Dennis, was friendly and kind.

This place was home away from home. Cozy, had everything you would need or want. A great way to end the day to walk into town to get a bite to eat or stay in and enjoy a meal and a movie. As a person who has not done VRBO or trips in ages, Dennis was kind to answer my questions. The deer in the morning were a nice surprise and so was the garage space! Looking over the city in the morning and evening was peaceful. As a son and mother trip, this place checked off all the boxes and more. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others and/or want to stay again. Hill City has a great vibe and 20 minutes away from Mt. Rushmore and close to Custer too!

This is a beautiful condo sitting on a hill overlooking the 1880’s Train in Hill City. The location is perfect and the condo is exceptionally well maintained and clean, with everything modern and new inside. We loved having this relaxing atmosphere so close to downtown but yet so quiet that deer were walking through the backyard as we sat on the patio. It was wonderful and we will be back!

This was the perfect location for our family of 4 with teens. The kitchen was well appointed and included extras like baggies, condiments and spices. The mattresses were very comfortable. We loved having the washing machine and dryer since we packed light. This location was close to everything we wanted to see and more.

Perfect location! Close enough to downtown but also the feeling of being away. Check in and check out was super easy. Super friendly hosts - greatly appreciate the hospitality! I can't think of one thing that wasn't fantastic! We recommended it to a family member before we even left. Definitely will be back someday!

Excellent location for our vacation in the Black Hills. The unit is very well furnished - bed/linens were very comfortable. Kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen we've had on a vacation; I greatly appreciated the well-kept ceramic cookware and all the seasonings! Would stay here again.

This was the perfect place to stay and call ‘home’ for a few days while being tourists in the area. The owners take pride in their home and it shows! Everything you could possibly need, they have ready for you! The view to town and the train station was awesome! Even got a chance to see deer in the yard! The homemade goodies upon arrival was amazing!! Thank you for being real family friendly hosts!!

The host were great, had TV issue when we first arrived, they were right there, Cookies and Muffins were a great surprise, the unit was well stocked with essentials. Had a garage to park in which was a surprise. Center location for a lot of places to visit
