Welcome to The Little House at Leesville Lake, your tranquil escape nestled in the heart of nature. Whether you’re seeking peaceful solitude or a base for outdoor adventures, this charming cabin blends rustic warmth with modern comfort, creating the perfect getaway for couples, solo travelers, or small families.

Although not lakefront, short distance to community dock with lake access, dock, & boat ramp (3 min drive).

7 miles from Smith Mountain Lake State Park!

The entire house is available for guest use, with the exception of the lofts that are for storage only. The entire 1,200 square foot deck, the community dock, hot tub, and the three acre lake access property is available for use, with just a drive down to the water.

We currently do not allow any pets inside the house, as our cleaning staff has an allergy. The property has exterior security cameras facing the driveway.

Mark was a great host and answered all questions in a timely manner! The cabin was well stocked and prepared with everything we needed for a pleasant and peaceful stay. The amenities were great and just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. We will definitely keep this spot in mind for future vacations!

The cabin was clean and very cozy. We enjoyed seeing the deer laying in the yard each evening and seen a mama bear and her cub. Very peaceful area and the hosts were excellent.

We had the best time at the little house. It was quiet and peaceful. It was just what we needed. Being able to cook on the grill and eat outside on the deck was perfect. Nights were spent by the fire pit. We did drive to smith mountain state park and hiked one of the trails. Perfect weather too. We will definitely be returning. We highly recommend this house for anyone that wants to get away from the stressors of ever day life for a few days.

Our 3‑night stay at this cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The space was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with all the essentials we needed to cook, relax, and feel right at home. We ended each night unwinding in the hot tub and watching movies, which quickly became our favorite routine. The host made the experience even better—attentive from start to finish, checking in to be sure our arrival went smoothly, guiding us through a simple checkout, and always being available whenever we had a question. That level of care truly stood out. Mornings on the deck were just as perfect—sipping coffee while taking in the peaceful scenery was the reset we didn’t know we needed. This cabin offered the ideal escape from our busy lives and set such a positive tone for the new year. We loved it so much that we’re already planning to return in the near future and make this a regular vacation spot. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars.

WOW! This place is INCREDIBLE! I mean, next level great! They had new furniture, TWO fire pits, a blackstone AND kayaks! The host was incredible and very responsive to any message sent and actually cared. It was me and my husbands 5 years anniversary and the host continued to remember and congratulate us during all conversations had. This place really is magical and off the grid with GREAT WiFi for the area. There is a community dock just down the road where the fishing was awesome! We will definitely be back soon! Our only complaint is that we genuinely wanted to stay forever! Add to your must visit list now, all the amenities make it more than worth it and such a wonderful time away from the world!!

Leesville lake is such a quiet and serene location, that it became a no brainer to purchase this land. With the ability to walk down to the water, or drive over to the community dock it practically sold itself!
